When I first saw the Luvdisc housou, I saw HandymanShipping for the first time. (I wasn't even aware of its existence before then.) Over recent debate, I have become even more strongly convinced that there is something between Tracey and Daisy.

I now present a list of the reasons that I believe that Daisy and Tracey have romantic feelings towards each other. So feel free to debate them if you wish. This is not complete for the Luvdisc housou.

Daisy acts out of character

The question of why Tracey is at the Gym has canonical explanations. Yet why is Daisy at the Gym so much? She is stereotyped to be the same as Violet and Lily and they are never around. Misty even makes that comment with Daisy included. She goes as far out of character as to invite Tracey to the Gym, to see their new Pokémon before even Violet and Lily.

The scene in "A Date With Delcatty"

During the middle of Misty’s battle with Giorgio, the writers cut to a scene with Daisy and Tracey. For a start, that Daisy goes to look at the pipes with Tracey contradicts her earlier complaint that "actress models and pool grime do not mix."

The date

HandymanShipping is one of the few ships whose characters have gone on a date. Daisy claims it is as thanks, yet she thanked Jimmy (from “Judgement Day”,) with a Gym badge. Daisy can get much hunkier boys, (and is stereotyped to want to,) yet she goes with Tracey.

Similarities to ApprenticeShipping

Tracey has not sparkled towards Professor Oak since he first met him. However, he now shows an idolisation of Daisy. This is shown in “Luvdisc is a Many Splendored thing”. Daisy comments that actress models can’t do hard work, and Tracey’s response is “of course”, with a very find look on his face.

In fact Tracey gives her a similar look when he and Daisy are talking to Misty at the end of “A Date With Delcatty”.

Daisy continues to ask of stuff from Tracey throughout the rescue of the Luvdisc, which he gladly does. This is in character for him, yet he won’t do the play with Misty…

The daydream

The daydream that pairs Misty with Tracey actually has hints of HandymanShipping. This is a look at how Daisy sees Tracey. Her mind is romanticised, as per her stereotype, yet Tracey isn’t a Prince Charming to anyone else. Most people just see the ‘nice guy’ on the surface, yet Daisy seems to see something else under the surface.

I suppose you could debate the hints or rebut them if you wanted to. Seems pretty concise to me.

That picture in the pipes is really cute--I hadn't seen it before. <3

I like your interpretation of the "daydream sequence." In fact, the whole hint list is nicely written--seems reasonable, and very concise. I've not seen these eps, so I can't really debate/ rebut/ join in remembered squeeing/ whatever. ^^;;

I'm new here. Thought I'd say that I've noticed those hints myself as well, and Handymanshipping seems to be quite intriguing. But alas its not as popular a ship as many others, frankly because for some strange reason people seem to hate Tracy quite a bit, simply because of the optional addition out of the so called canon of the video games and manga.

Interesting that the optional additions, Daisy and Tracy, make due for a possible coupling. Although I severely doubt we'll see many more episodes featuring the two, but it would certainly be nice to see that.

Eh, the shipping makes sense to me. A lot more sense than some of the other shippings Tracey gets put in.

Handymanshipping is teh luuuurrrrve. <3 Shame it's seen as a ship to bolster Pokeshipping and nothing else. I don't think there are even any fanfics for it.

I'd write a fic if I could think of a plot and it wasn't guaranteed to turn into a twelve-chapter monstrosity before I was through with the planning stages.

The only fanfics I've seen of Tracey is one's in which he is bashed repeatedly. One fanfic that portrayed him as semi good had him shown as a bisexual male who had a bit of an issue with his image and everyone's opinion of him (It was actually a lot better than the summary). There is one pic I've come across that features Handymanshipping, its by Suzushiroya Suzuki (at least I think thats her name), I found it while searching for 'handymanshipping' on google.

It would be nice to read a handymanshipping, and what possible plots could come up with that ship as a theme.

I laughed when I read Dogasu's episode comparisons for Chronicles and found out that Handymanshipping is nothing more than dub added crap.

FabuVinny's entire original post is not a hint list, but either dub added nonsense or simple Tracey and Daisy scenes.

*chases Scott off with a stick* Dammit, how many times have I warned you not to apply logic to this friggin series!

wtf? The only hint on that list that's been proved a dub addition was the date.

4Kids cut out the biggest HandymanShipping scene!

Besides, with Daisy, the date isn't as big as other things.

Oooh, what was the biggest Handymanshipping scene?

I'm fond of the part where Daisy makes Tracey pump up the liferaft. :D
