fake GBA games help needed

I bought the full set of the GBA main series games(FR,LG,R,S,E)from a site and they turned out to be copies so they don't do GBA link to my official pearl version so i can't get the dongle pokémon and also use the pal park (which is what i bought them for). any idea how to make them work? i mean i complained to the site but there's no hope there of them helping, anyone have an idea about how to make the fakes work? (I'm penniless so buying them again isn't really an option to be honest =\ )

TR;DR : How do you make fakes work?
 
yeah, my appearently fake leaf green doesn't workd either. Just try to send your stuff back if possible. If they won't take it back but their policy does state they should, sue.
 
3 things:
1. Fakes dont work and usually dp will delete the saves.
2. I have had real games and if i put say, a legit US version ruby into a ds with japanese version plat, it wont delet the save.
3. This is how to spot fakes.
 
If u look at the classified ads like Craigslist, u can find nice deals on Pokemon games. I got FR, LG, & S for $20 from a seller on Craigslist. Just make sure that u meet the seller and check the game(s) before u buy.

People have been right on the money. Fakes will not work, no matter what you do. Your D/P/Pt cards can delete the save files, and the Pal Park capability is just not there. My brother has a fake copy of Sapphire so I found this out first hand.

Craigslist is a good suggestion, but if you're in the UK you're probably better off at some Game store that sells used games, or try to pick your internet purchases more carefully next time. Was it a reputable website? You may be able to exchange them.

I once bought Pokémon Ruby on Amazon for about £11. Turned out to be a fake. The seller asked me to return it for a full refund and apologised saying that she didn't know it was a fake. Which I thought was pretty awesome.
Expecting this £11 back, I decided upon getting a barely used and Boxed Pokémon Emerald for £35 off eBay. The same day Emerald arrived was the same I got a genuine Ruby cartridge instead of a refund! :p

But, if you have any doubts that the game online might be fake - Ask the seller if s/he can take a few photos for your to examine? If they deny giving photos, they are more than likely fakes. Better to be safe than to be sorry ;)

that vid just made me realize, my leafgreen is fake =/
 
my emraled is from amozon it DOES connect with dp but are there any other things because i cant see the youtube link cos my computors slow as a snorlax
 
Amazon is a very reliable place to buy games. It ebay you gotta be careful about. However, if you buy on amazon or play.com, buy new, not pre-owned, so your guaranteed a real game.
 
It is simply a peril of buying things on the internet
its a chance that u take im afraid
also as far as i am aware there are no compatibilty problems between different localization versions of dppt or other versions as i remember my US copies of gold and silver hooked up fine with my friends UK copies
 
Same thing happend to my Firered game, but I had already traded like all FRpokes to my "real"(even if a game is a fake isn't it real? It's a real fake.) ruby and nothing bad happend to ruby, I even PalPaked them to Diamond. However the save file delete itself after 60 houres if play regardless.
