South Park for the win. Family Guy Is very funny but it loses points on the premise that the writers all seem to have a god complex. Even though they both push boundaries I think Family Guy are crueler than South Park, and their humor Is much easier to write. Plus the creators of South Park have made some great movies, which you can't say about Family Guy (because I watched them both and I didn't get any references or hardly and of the jokes because I've never seen Star Wars/Star Trek in my life)Please find something else to spoof next time. :phew:

Well seeing as these two faced off before and South Park won I'm going with South Park, they have the balls to pretty much make fun of and embarass anyone out there...Family Guy tries to do the same but it just feels like their trying to copy South Park.

Never liked South Park...Family Guy I find funny on occasion...

But I like the Cleveland Show the best.

I must be weird, because I like both Family Guy and South Park equally.

I find Family Guy watchable but South Park is much more intelligent with their humour so I'm going to say them.

What.

I don't care for either of them anymore. They both just try to get laughs by taking low blows at everything. Both started out quite good, but just went to crap as they progressed.

But South Park was really immature with the Family Guy episode, if you want to prove you're better than something, mocking it usually isn't the best way. It was also at that time that the "LOL FAMILY GUY SUX" trend started. Bandwagon much?

Also, Family Guy is now almost 90% all random flashback cut-aways. It's ridiculous. He doesn't even to throw a plot together, just weave as many zany cultural references as he can and just write any old thing to fill the time.

...and Cleveland Show is exactly the same.

King of the Hill laughs at all of them.

... but American Dad on the other hand, is actually pretty good.

Until it got canceled. Not that it was bad, or anything...

It had a good run, just as well now that poor Brittany Murphy Isn't around.

That's what I mean. Although the flashbacks are nearly always funny, they work the script around the jokes. Where as South Park work jokes into the script, which requires a lot more hard work.

I hate them both. Futurama for the win.

what do you mean 'what'?

That South Park is more "intelligent" than Family Guy. It's not, it's just usually more blunt (outright using racial slurs and such).

Also, King of the Hill was also ended partially ended to make more room for Seth McFarlane's power-hour.

This is not true at all. Cleveland Show uses the flashback technique, but it's not the primary way the humor is deployed like in Family Guy.

Cleveland Show has, at this point, proven itself to be better.

Speaking of King of the Hill...can we get rid of American Dad or something to get it back on the air...or maybe Family Guy at this point.
Also, Ryuu, Futurama is the best of them all.

Southpark lol, you gotta be at least 30 to understand some of the references...

Even if it is an intelligent show (not implying that it isn't), it's very vulgar, and it's hard to see through that, very much so.

On one hand, I'm glad it got cancelled, because I may've never started watching it. I started watching it when AS picked it up, and discovered how down-to-Earth the show actually is. But on the other, I like it so much I wish it hadn't been cancelled.

I hate them both. Futurama for the win.

I'm starting be more and more bored with Seth MacFarlane. I try to watch the newer episodes of Family Guy nowadays, and it's like I'm watching the same episode over and over again, when I'm not. The older Family Guy episodes are so much better, imo. Ntm one of his more recent episodes was bit too straight forward for him to get away with his implications, like he usually does.

South Park is funny, while Family Guy isn't it's just stupid.

Also Family Guy is partically is a parody of its former self, in 1999 Peter was just a stupid father, Brian was the voice of reason, Stewie was an evil parody, Chris was a brother, and Meg was an unpopular sister.

But now both Peter and Chris are two metally challenged chracters, Louis is just used for plot and has no personalty, Stewie is gay which came out of no were, Brian became a jerk, and Meg a punching bag.

south park i find family guy insufferable seriously family guy is just Seth McFarlens political mouthpiece i get it Seth your an atheist democrat at least south park makes fun of everyone

South Park is far more funny imo. It's so non PC, which isn't something I normally endorse, but for some reason with South Park it's all good. I'm just really tired of Seth MacFarlane.
