Famitsu scores Pokemon XD

According to GameStats.com, Famitsu gave Colosseum a 9/8/8/8 (33/40).

Of course, since XD appears to be little more than just Colosseum with added areas, a younger protagonist, and different set of Shadow Pokémon, I'm actually surprised that they didn't score it even lower, like 7/6/6/6 (25/40).

Meh, too bad. There was still a part of me hoping it was at least a little better. I know I'll still end up getting it because my younger brothers wants the lugia, but a little disappointing.

no, I know how hard famitsu reviews, I was just hoping that maybe it would at least get a 30-32/40

Pokemon XD: Yami no Senpuu Dark Lugia (GC, Nintendo): 8 / 7 / 7 / 7 - (29/40)

Really, kind of expected.
It's Yami no Kaze!
I don't understand why everyone writes Senpuu. Who invented that nonsense?

EDIT: WTF even play-asia wrote Senpuu ...

The kanji says 旋風 senpū but the furigana says カゼ kaze. The furigana is in tiny, tiny print, and often omitted in writing, so...

Also, welcome back from Tōkyō. I trust the earthquakes didn't affect you much.

Oh I see. But in the comercial movie the voice says kaze and I think at other things I also heard people saying kaze

I also heard Kaze in the commercial, and it means wind. I think the real meaning in senpuu, but kaze for younger kids or something.

旋風 senpū means Whirlwind - probably referring to Dark Lugia's signature move. It's pronounced kaze, because senpū is ugly and unpoetic.

Those are actually the scores of the individual raters. All 4 of them rate it out of a score of 10.

Ohhh, now I get it. Hehe. I thought it was like those old-fashioned mags that rated those aspects...

But if they're rough, as it's been said, then those scores are quite good.
