I decided to make a fan made front sprite for "Mijumaru" out of boredom. I liked it so I decided to make a cry for it and create its possible animation.

Getting sound that wasn't a real instrument while getting not to sound too computerised was tough. I wanted this to look/sound as authentic as possible.

Duuuude, that's awesome. Makes him even MORE endearing, if that's possible. Grrr, I hate it when pokemon makes me want a real one! The more I obsess over the little guy, the more I wish he were real and here and awesome!!! He could live in my swimming pool and eeeeverything!

The Mudkip fad indeed started on Deviantart, when someone left a user a message inviting them to join their Pokemon fan club thing. The message, I believe, started out with, "so I herd u liek mudkips."

I had the original comment bookmarked on my old computer, but it's long gone now. (EDIT: google is my hero.)
