“Fantastical Parade” expansion announced for Pokémon TCG Pocket, set to launch mid-next week — Introduces Stadium cards; February events announced

Fantastical Parade: Available Wednesday, January 28th, 5pm PST
A new trailer and press release have provided players with their first look at Pokémon TCG Pocket's next expansion, Fantastical Parade, which is set to launch worldwide next week on Wednesday, January 28th at 5:00pm (PST) / Thursday, January 29th at 1:00am (UTC), along with revealing a selection of events and new app features coming to the game throughout the next month. This expansion also introduces Stadium cards into the game.

Fantastical Parade
For the first time, a main set will have only one booster pack, with Fantastical Parade's booster pack featuring Mega Gardevoir. This expansion introduces Stadium cards into the game, and also continues the B series' trend of introducing Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, with new cards for Mega Mawile, and Mega Gardevoir, as well as a variety of full-art cards with festival–themed illustrations.

In this event running from January 29th at 10:00pm (PST) / January 30th at 6:00am (UTC) to April 26th at 10:59pm (PDT) / April 27th at 5:59am (UTC), players can complete missions to obtain a powerful Fire-type Elite Deck, featuring Mega Blaziken ex and Entei ex.

Wonder Pick Event
In this event running from February 14th at 10:00pm (PST) / February 15th at 6:00am (UTC) to February 24th at 9:59pm (PST) / February 25th at 5:59am (UTC), players will be able to obtain new promo cards such as Cinderace and Alolan Vulpix. Missions will be available allowing players to obtain a shop ticket that can be redeemed for one of these cards in the in-game shop.
Wonder Pick Event (Toxtricity)
A variety of in-game items will be obtainable using shop tickets acquired by completing missions, including a binder cover and display board themed around Toxtricity.

  • New Message Function:
    A new message function will be added to the app’s trade feature on Jan. 29. Players will be able to choose between set messages, allowing them to share whether they’d like to trade for a wishlisted card or a card in an alternate language.
