who's your favorite character of the day? from the original series, to the current. also, try to explain why.

I liked Gligarman from Johto. I wish he reappeared in DP when Ash first caught Gligar, but sadly the writers probably forgot about him given his ep aired way back in...2001?

yeah, a lot of characters like that are easily forgotten. my favorite was jerry. the girl with the girafarig that battled a gengar.

Dr. Quakenpoker from the Orange Islands was awesome. He's hilarious.

Shauna was also a nice character, even if she was in two episodes. (See if you can remember who she is)

I also liked Michelle with the Bagon and most of Kanto's filler characters.

I'd say most of the Kanto COTD's. But that's probly because I never imagined such a thing as a COTD back then. >_>

Well, A.J. was awesome, as was Duplica. They're just memorable characters. A.J. made my favorite pokémon Sandshrew for many, many years. :D

Aside from them, I also liked... I think her name was Hagatha? Crazy ghost lady. That episode was awesome. I love her kind of character, haha.

The writers didn't forget anything, if something/someone didn't return - they simply chose not to make it return - it's as simple as that

Wasn't she the girl that liked Browly? she had Meditite and I think she looked similar to one of the trainer sprites in RS
If I was right and I'm almost sure I was - she's not nearly as forgetable as you seemed to think with your "see if you remember"... I remember a lot of the one shot characters, even these who weren't interesting at all

Duplica was good of all of them, I mean they freakin imitated TR's motto with her, how many people can say that.

For some reason I always loved Duplica. Back when Kanto was still airing and I saw Ditto's Mysterious Mansion for the first time (this was ten years ago), I thought Duplica was so cool. I liked her so much that I asked my mom, who was pregnant with my sister at the time, if we could name my sister Duplica. XD

Hmm. I agree that Quackenpoker and Gligarman were awesome characters. Idk, I guess my vote goes to those three, unless I can think of someone better.

Duplica. The only girl in Pokemon to wear jeans. Not to mention she had bushy eyebrows too! Alright Duplica!

Zachary Evans. The one with the Yanma in Johto~ He was adorable, man ;; But there are so many other CotD's that I love too ;;

Not only was she insanely adorable, but her personality was very entertaining. Watching her jump from man to man in search for love (regardless if they wanted it) was hilarious. It's too bad she settled on that doctor, I really wish we could've seen her again.

I also loved Kanata and Ulala. Sure Ulala was a snob, but she was amusing.
 
I don't know if he counts, but Ritchie - like a version of Ash who's not irritating plus I loved how he gave all his pokemon nicknames!!

I hate unnamed pokemon - it's like having a pet rabbit & just saying to it "Hi Rabbit, how are you?" there's no love....

Himeka...was that the girl known in America as Temacu? If so, then yes, she was insanely adorable, especially in her imaginary pink wedding gown. Anyone got a picture of that?
 
Wakana was so cuuuute. But she did get a cameo during the Kanto Grand Festival, so I'm happy.

Mainly, I just miss the PFC/PMC. ;_; Third appearance, please?

Human-Ditto/Metamon Duplica/Imite was fun and awesome. x3 Although I think she had enough appearances.

I don't know, I liked so many characters-of-the-day. ^^;
