Seeing as most of us here on the forums are adults/Teenagers, or at least not children anymore, what are some of your favorite memories as a child? Anything goes.

I remember one Easter morning when I was probably six or seven, when I woke up. I was covered in a brand new Pokemon blanket that my father got me, along with a WarGreymon toy (We celebrate Easter weird at my Dad's house). I remember it being one of the happiest days of my life.

Another happy memory is waking up the first day of Second Grade and finding out that I was getting transferred out of my First Grade school, due to bullying and the fact that the teacher was awful to me. I was nervous starting at the new school, but I quickly made a new friend who shared my interest. We were quite close until I moved away in the middle of Fourth Grade.

So yeah, what are some of your favorite memories growing up?

I remember when I lived in Vietnam (I was about two), I ran away from a pair of rubber gloves because I thought they were alive. ^^; Good times.

The first time I watched Pingu.

Almost talking penguins with human activities. What more does a child want to watch?

Finding my first Pokemon card in my brother's room. :D

Playing Tetris on my crib, just faint memories but I actually remember the voluptuous Game Boy in my hands. Great times.

I think my favorite's lying with my dad in my backyard in the evening under the chestnut tree and bat-watching:bawl:.

Getting my leg tied up in the rope used to keep my grandad's male sheep at bay, then getting dragged down the road by one.

Was watching that recently, still entertaining.
When I went to the water park with my daddy. :3
D'awww :3

That sounds so nice :)
Snuggling with my mom during a storm.
Aww :3
While we were still in San Diego, we'd take weekly trips to the zoo. Still one of the fondest memories I have.
One of my fondest memories is going to the zoo with two of my friends at the time. Really fantastic day :D

Another of mine is my first trip to Spain with my family. I remember how amazing it was that we weren't in Scotland anymore, we had traveled so far and I had all these new expenses and seeing new things and hearing new sounds.

Either the time I had a poem published in an anthology and got a young laureate award for it when I was 10 or the time I danced for Queen Elizabeth II when I was around 8.
Summer scraps with my male schoolfriends come close, though. As does the time my design was chosen to be my primary school's new logo.
