yup....post your favorite genre(s) of manga.

i mostly prefer yuri, comedy, romance, and slice-of-life mangas

I love slice-of-life manga as well, particularly Azumanga Daioh and Yotsuba&! After that I prefer detective/mystery manga with some suspense, like Detective Conan. Romance is all right sometimes, especially ones with the man lovin's. After that it just depends. I'll try anything, though.

Shounen and Seinen mostly. I'll read most genres, though I tend to steer clear of moe/harem type stuff with a few exceptions (Kazarou Inoue being a big one).

yeah there are a lot of harem mangas that are all too similar to eachother. that gets kind of annoying.

Josei manga for me - Nana, Paradise Kiss, Nodame Cantabile, Honey and Clover, Tramps Like Us, etc. :) I haven't read any manga in a while, though when I do, it's Josei.

Here are my Favorite categories: Action/Adventure/Science Fiction/Horror Drama/Mystery/Thriller/Crime.

I like the comedy/romance/fantasy genres of manga.

I'd have to say fantasy and adventure, and for the most part, I like these particular genres outside of just manga.

Sci-fi, Mystery, Crime, and Psychological, same with everything other kinds of media, but I usually read Seinen, because they get more freedom, and don't fall into cliché.

I like Mystery mostly because you have to use your brain to solve what is going on in the Manga.

Mystery/Psychological. Sometimes dip into Slice of life.

They're mostly my preferred Genre of manga, but sometimes I read various genres, as long as the story is good and hooking.

Hmm, while I'm usually into manga like Ryuusei no Rockman, Fullmetal Alchemist, you know, something with violence, I'm often drawn to other genres if I see cute girls. Yup, the whole reason I like those slice-of-life manga is because Konata from Lucky Star suckered me into them.

I tend to go away from harem manga, because that means too much fanservice. But if the girl's cute enough...

Action/Adventure that has a good amount of Comedy. Such examples would be Yu-Yu-Hakusho, Full Metal Alchemist, and The Legend of Zelda. Genres such as Slice of Life bore me to tears because heck, if I wanted Slice of Life, I would read people's blogs or interact with my own friends.

I haven't read many manga genres because I mostly buy what I know I like and what my friends recommend, and they have similar tastes as me. When it comes to other genres, I usually just try out the anime online.

I enjoy Seinen better. Be any subgenre, like horror, comedy, slice-of-life, etc.

I like Sports, Action, Thriller, and Comedy the most, but as long as it is good I'll like it!
