I do despise a few things, I enjoy anything that's pleasing to the ears.

Similar, but both are distinct enough since the other thread focuses on what you have where as this one just asks the question, 'what genre do you like most?'

[Besides, I'm too lazy to do what the other thread asks anyways and if I did do it, the largest amount of music that comes up wouldn't necessarily be my most favorite genre]


My pick would probably be a tie between Alternative Rock and Contemporary Jazz. I really don't mind any brand of music as long as I can swing with it. But lately, the softer tunes and moderate beats tend to hit my sweet spot.

Alternative and Rock would be my top two. Country would come in as third and after that, I can almost listen to any music except rap (no offense to anyone).

I don't listen to anything other than rock (unless it's a cover of a rock song I like). As far as specifics, in decreasing prefrence: Hard Rock, Grunge, Classical, Indy, Metal, and Punk.

My favorite genre would be Death Metal. Despite the fact that it creates a very aggresive atmosphere, I feel more calm when I listen to it.

my fourite bands are Gorillaz, Slipknot, Three Days Grace, the Adopted, and so on th list goes....
