What's your favorite character from any of Hayao Miyazaki's films?

Mine is San from Princess Mononoke. She's so awesome! ^^
 
Kushana from Nausicaa. She's a BAMF, no questions asked. B)
Oh, and Haku from Spirited Away just cause he's adorable. <3
 
Chihiro and Haku from Spirited Away, Howl and Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle, and Dola and her pirate crew from Castle in the Sky.

I love Howl and Fujimoto, Ponyo's daddy. But mostly Howl. I have such a thing for gentlemen. I read the book that one was based on too, and I definitely like Miyazaki's version of the Howl character better.
 
If I had to pick favorite characters solely from Miyazaki films, they would probably be:

  1. Nausicaä (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind)
  2. Yupa (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind)
  3. Nigihayami Kohaku Nushi (Spirited Away)
  4. San (Princess Mononoke)
  5. Ashitaka (Princess Mononoke)
  6. Lusheeta Toel Ul Laputa (Castle in the Sky)
  7. Chihiro Ogino (Spirited Away)
  8. Pazu (Castle in the Sky)
  9. Howl (Howl's Moving Castle)
  10. Sophie Hatter (Howl's Moving Castle)
  11. Romska Palo Ul Laputa (Castle in the Sky)
  12. Kushana (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind)
  13. Kurotowa (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind)
  14. Porco Rosso (Porco Rosso)
  15. Asbel (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind)
And surely many more.

If I could choose from any Studio Ghibli movie, I could narrow it down to Shizuku Tsukishima, Seiji Amasawa and Baron Humbert von Jikkingen, all from Whisper of the Heart, as well as the last one reappearing in The Cat Returns (his name spelled there, for some inexplicable reason, as "Gikkingen").
 
Haku and Kamajii tie in Spirited Away. I like Dola and her sons/minions from Laputa... Howl obviously from Howl's Moving Castle, and Totoro from whatever movie that was.

SO TRUE. Also, she's the only female main character that doesn't have the Miyazaki hair cut.

Howl. Yes. And I have a soft spot for Nausicaä too. And No-Face, weird, yes, but fascinating...
 
My favorite would have to be Kiki from Kiki's Delivery Service.
 
That's an easy one for me! I love Chihiro and Haku from Spirited Away. I was given the DVD from my mom's friend who is Japanese when I was young, and I keep watching it over and over and never get tired of it! (I hope that made sense to everyone!)

Ahh, I love so many of them! It's hard to choose. Well, the one I love most of all is Howl from Howl's Moving Castle~ He's so cool. X3

I also love Jiji and Tombo from Kiki's Delivery Service. I also like Kiki from it.

Oh, and I can't forget Haku from Spirited Away.
 
Definitely have to say Haku from Spirited Away. I thought he was very interesting and cute.
 
Oh god... I can't pick between Haku, Porco Rosso and Totoro.

BUT POM POKO SRSLY IS AWSM.
