Simple enough idea for a topic. Give us some voices you like and voices you... well, don't.

Personally, I prefer Ash's newer voice to his 4Kids one, because it kinda sounds like he's going through puberty. (He looks older, he is older, dammit! Ain't no narrators can tell me what to believe!) And while she is my waifu, Flannery's voice was... underwhelming. I found it too nasally; I'd imagine she'd sound like, say, the female protagonist of Tony Hawk's Underground... yes, I did play Story Mode as her.
 
Brock, May and Max's dub voices in Battle Frontier are god awful. Same with most of TPCi's dub voices in the DP saga... or in general.
 
I liked Brock's voice actor a lot! Mainly because it's the same guy that does Kaiba in Yu-Gi-Oh, and oh man, that voice is so awesome. I think it's the same guy, anyway. The two voices sound a lot a like.

Otherwise, no other voices really stand out to me a lot. I mean, they're not bad, just not godly like this one, imo.
 
I really liked Oak's voice and Gary's voice in the 4Kids dub, and my least favorite voice is Ash's current one. I generally dislike anime voices that lack emotion.

Gotta agree with Gary's dub voice in the 4Kids seasons being terrible. It is so annoying now that I rewatch episodes as I am older.
 
I never liked Cilan's voice. It kinda bugged me due to its tone, and also the way he spoke. OK, granted, I dislike Cilan for other reasons too (his design is just weird...and god, those eyes), but his voice really didn't help.

I think they were trying to go with the "flamboyant" style, and if that's the case I can see where they were going, but it really didn't endear me.
 
I definitely prefer the original voices though tbh they have improved the new ones

Anyone else hoping that if Tracy does return, Ted Lewis will regain his role like Contesta and Giovanni regained their originals after Craig Blair left?
 
I like May's Japanese voice. Gentle, not squeaky, not awfully high pitched, but still sounds young.
I like Gary's 4kids voice-- he really sounds like a great big bully.
 
Since we're talking the main characters and the dub, I really like Rachael Lillis as Jessie. She doesn't hold a candle to Megumi Hayashibara though, and she toned down her fierceness quite I bit in AG if I remember correctly. My least favorite are all of Meowth's voice actors since the Brooklyn midget voice really does not suit the character.

Especially Piplup's VA. That voice annoyed me to no end and it didn't help that I ALREADY hated Piplup
 
After all these years, I must say that Rica Matsumoto is still kicking ass. That hype and energy of her's is always fun to hear whenever I watch anything from the original overseas dub.

I also loved Bill Rogers as Brock during DP's English dub run. He was a-lot of fun, and just generally good for the role.

Least favorite would probably be Sarah Natochenny during Battle Frontier. She has made some great improvements from DP onwards, but damn did she have a rocky start.

Least Favourite: Iris / Serena
 
Favorites: TPCi Origins Giovanni, 4Kids Ash, 4Kids James, 4Kids Brock, 4Kids Meowth, 4Kids Jessie, and 4Kids Professor Oak.
Least Favorites: I think I hate nearly all the current Anime dub voices except for Dawn, Iris, and Cilan's at this point- actually this is a HUGE reason why I gave up on the dub.
 
Favorites: James Past and Present, but Past was better. Paul's, Ash's new one, May's original
Charon..... cause Dr. Eggman's VA(Hope he voices Xerosic in the dub)
Whoever voices the Malamars in the dub

Least Favorites: Bonnie, ugh how I hate everything about Bonnie, her voice makes my skin crawl. And Clemont's. Lysandre's too...... can't stand watching the specials because of it.
Sawyer's dub voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard
