Who was the best mother in the series to you.

Yes, V Faction, I made this thread on Serebii buddy, lol. Way to blow my cover before.

All the moms were great.

I really enjoyed Johanna the most. She's a mother I can respect, cause she always spoke the truth, and was loving.

She also gave Dawn a lot of encouraging words, trust, and responsibility, and I love how proud she was of her daughter.

She's also a great battler, a GF champion at that.

Delia is always funny, and is sweet at the end of the day. Ash and his underwear was hilarious back in Kanto.

Caroline was such a caring and loving mother. But man, don't piss her off. Don't Mess With My Man is the song I always here when I think of her.

Lola was cool. She was funny too. I loved that she trained water types. Love to see her and Misty battle one day, since they shouldn't be that far from each other.

So, who was your favs?

Johanna for me, she was the most detailed, smartest, sweetest, and honset mother to me.

If there is another mom that you like, choose other.
 
Eh, Delia. She seems more of the mother type to me, especially after seeing the third movie.
 
Johanna for telling Dawn that she should stop ringing her when something goes wrong. I like parents that are blunt.

Plus she complimented Musalina.
 
Mmm...It was a difficult desicion xD but finally I chose Caroline :3. Damn she is hillarious xDU. it was totally EPIC when she thought that her huseband was cheating her with nurse Joy xDDDDD, it also was really funny when she tried to send May her psychical energy because she can't go to Grand Festival xD. And she is a lovely and caring mother and she really loves her children <33. She is the mom who everybody wants to have :3 she is tatally awesome, so I picked for her =D

Delia is really funny and caring too :3 Sheis my second favourite =D She was awesome in the third movie <3333 and she is totally hillarous with her Ash's underwear obsession xDU. And her food looks really tasty too :(!

Lola is funny too, but I don't know her so much xDU

Personally I don't like Johanna so much, Is not like I hate her but I don't like her personality :( She's too "Mrs perfection" xDU. And she is stuck on her tv everytime! xD

Joking aside, probably Delia, mostly because of Movie 3. After her Caroline(because she is hilarious), Johanna and Lola.
 
Hanako is amazing :D She must have the patience of a saint for a start to bring up a little spaz like Satoshi for 10 years. And plus, I just love her. She is also the mother I'd most want to have out of all of the above. She's actually NICE (*coughcough* Ayako) and totally unglamourous and stuff. N'aww <3
 
I vote for Delia. I always thought any episode with her in it was guaranteed to be funny.
I like how ditzy, distracted and quirky she is, and yet you can tell she really cares about her son.
Caroline is a very close second though. You can tell who May gets her ditzyness from :p
I like Johanna a lot too, the way she watches over Dawn but makes sure Dawn learns to be responsible and strong shows she is an intelligent woman, but my favourite characters are always the funny ones.
 
I think Delia is my favorite but I'm not sure... Johanna was clearly the most related to the story out of all mothers - she caused Dawn to be a Coordinator, she always watch her Contests, she had unique and different personality in that she told Dawn not to call her all the time and talk with her friends/Poké, she has backstory with Lila... I think they bothered with Johanna's character much more than the others...
 
Gonna say Delia. Lola amused me if only because of the dubbing error fiasco and the fact that she looks nothing like her kids (hence it would have been so easy to pass her off as Flint's new girlfriend/wife just to agitate Brock even more) and is so... flighty. If she were around more, she might have been my favorite. I liked Caroline alright, but I don't remember her well enough to recall her qualities.

I actually don't care much for Johanna. I think the main reason is that aspect about her in the dub that we're not supposed to talk about here, but something about her kinda rubs me the wrong way, too. Some episode where she scolded Dawn for daring to get excited over a win or something, I dunno. Just never cared much for her.

Delia rocks, though. I guess, having been around the longest and therefore giving us all great memories of her derpmom moments makes that a no-brainer for me.
 
The big thing about Caroline is she thought Norman was cheating on her with a local Nurse Joy.
 
This is a cute idea for a poll! I chose Delia, just because she was around way back. And she is really sweet too.
 
All of them except Lola... the way she died and ressurected (dub only) abandonned her family irked me. BROCK IS SCARRED FOR LIFE BECAUSE OF YOU. She's not cool enough to have a Blastoise.

Caroline had one really funny episode and that's pretty much it. She was flat the rest of the time

Johanna I liked cause she told Dawn what Dawn needed to hear, but you can still see she cares deeply + she did something of herself besides getting knocked up.

Delia is funny, I love Delia.
 
I like Delia; she seems to support Ash more throughout his journey than the other mothers listed in the poll do to their kids.

You know, when I made this thread on Serebii, I actually didn't included Lola.

I also didn't like how they killed her off, then bought her back to life, and I got a lot of flack for that.

Everyone said, but it was a Dub error, which it was, and I loved Chronicles, but I will say this: how the hell is that possible 5 years later, haha.

Also, I thought Johanna was sweet, she's just honest.

Why do a lot of people get a bad vibe, I didn't expect her to get #1, but why is it that some view her as a mini Lady Tremaine from Cinderella.

But when they leave for Prof Oak, Delia carefully polishes the trophy and puts it on top of the TV.
