What are your favorite openings or endings? Is English or Japanese better?

I preffer the Japanese. I like The Greatest, Everyday!, and several of the endings, including Soko ni Sora ga Aru Kara, Polka-O-Dolka, and Dotchi~Nyo :)
 
I could never get into the OP as they always sounded like girls yelling. It would be nice if a male did an OP for Pokemon.

They did have one. It was one of the Advanced openings, but I can't remember which :uhoh:

The first opening of AG.

My fave is Saikou Everyday. Gets me hyped for the new episode every time.

I really think the Japanese episode openings are done a whole lot better and on a higher scale as well.

I just saw the Saikō - Everyday! opening and it is truly amazing. Interesting how they fit pretty much every legendary into the opening and the scene with all of Ash's Pokemon is great as well. Takeshi's Paradise is pretty good closing as well and is very funny. I think it just so happens to be a coincidence that they chose Oddish at the very end though.

I personally like that Japanese one, because there is more a variety in the beat and it makes me want to dance to it, even though I am 20 now. I feel that the English version are more towards younger generations that just want to watch the show. I rather watch it in to the opening in Japanese. And sometimes some of the Opening and Ending are sung by famous artist that are hired to the creators of Pokemon.
 
I haven't seen much. Although the English Battle Frontier one is pretty cool.
 
Of the various English themes, my favourite is probably "Pokemon Johto". It was a pretty catchy song, overall.

I haven't heard all the Japanese themes, so I can't comment too much on them.

the greatest everyday(jp),Mazease Pokemon Massuta(jp)Spurt!(jp),Battle Frontier(jp),Ready Go!(jp).....

Ecxept the symphony one and the Remastered-Mazease one,I dont like those very much.

They did with Advanced Adventure,AKA the one whose instrumental version is awesome and one of the most used themes in the BGM.

And while we are on the topic,My favourite endings are Haruka´s theme,The first one,the last one and the glorious.

Oh...and pokemon ondoh and Polka O Dolka deserve a special mention.
 
Japanese, either The Greatest - Everyday, Advance Adventure, or Ready Go.

English would probably either be Advance Battle or the movie version of We Will Be Heroes.

Don't like any endings.
 
My least favourite must be Born to Be a Winner. I guess there's only so many 'heroic' lyrics one can come up with.

My favorite english opening would have to be the Pokemon Theme, followed by We Will Be Heroes, then it's Pokemon Johto.
