my favorite JP openings are
High Touch!
Battle Frontier
Advance Adventure
Mezasei Pocket Monster
Mezase pokemon master 2001

my favorite endings are
Takeshi no Paradise
Nyasu no Party
Nyasu No Uta
Maemuki Roketto Dan
Type Wild
Pokémon Ondo
Hyakugojuuichi
Pokemon Kazoe Uta

and as for the english openings i like all of them except for the first opening for D/P
 
Well, I like the English openings well enough, except the second, chronicles, and diamond and pearl. As for Japan, I've only seen the newest one but it's pretty awesome.

These are the only ones i've heard in Japanese, because I started watching 2010's episodes, and I've heard Glory Day because it was tacked on to the end of some of my AG episodes, replacing the terrible 4kids one.

ready go! (think that's what it's called from memory. 5th opening anyway.)

Soko ni sora ga aru kara (first ending I saw ever in japanese)


English themes are okay. I don't hate any. I guess if season 11 battle dimensions theme was longer I'd say that for english.=/

...I really don't particularly care for any of the English ending themes.
 
Openings: "Mesaze Pokémon Master" is virtually unbeatable in this category (both the 1997 original and the 2001 Whiteberry version), but it has a lot of contenders anyway. "OK" and "Ready Go" are both pure undiluted awesome, and "Battle Frontier" and "Spurt" both more than made up for the lackluster Houen openings.
All the American openings suck. But you knew that.

Endings: God, I love the ending themes. They're the one thing that neither 4Kids nor PUSA ever bothered to touch, and so they were never forced to "be more American". "Hyakugojuichi" is a great little goofy song, and "Nyasu's Song" is a nice moving piece. "Pokémon Ondo" is one of my favorite things ever. "Takeshi's Paradise" is awesome just 'cause it's probably the funniest thing ever done with Takeshi in the run of the show. "Maemuki Rocket-dan" is an excellent character song that isn't afraid to be a little silly. And "Pokettari Monsuttari" is just downright adorable. But nothing quite tops the sheer unbridled sense of fun that shines through every note of "Polka O Dolka", my favorite "Pokémon" song ever. It sort of feels like no ending theme since then has ever quite been able to reach the high standard it set.

I didn't really like any of the original series themes. Hyakugojūichi and Pocketāri Monstāri were probably the best.

I do like the Japanese Pokemon Theme Song's. But I do like the English ones better. I like the English Pokemon Theme better than the Japanese. I like the English one's better because I like to read the lyrics. And I also love the English Version of the song Type Wild. And so many others.

Above all others for sure. I'm English (Canadian) so I don't watch the Japanese ones.
