I can't see a recent thread about this topic so I thought I'd create one!

Who is your favourite YouTuber who makes videos about Pokemon and why?

Personally mine is the J-Wittz. I find him most straight to the point and he adds in a little bit of humour which is always good :). Second favourite would have to be Tamashii.

Marriland would be my #1 favorite just because him and his website are what truly got me into the Pokemon games when DP came out. Before that, it had just been the Anime and Pokemon's website.

Shofu's probably my 2nd favorite just because's funny as hell.

There are too many I love.

For competitive videos PokeaimMD is pretty great.

I also watch HoodlumScrafty, KingNappy, and Shady Penguinn.

Defo JWittz. His voice isn't annoying to listen to, he doesn't incessantly curse (or curse at all, really), and he does a really good job of posting a variety of videos on his channel from play-throughs to fact of the day videos. He also does a good job making his videos humorous, but he does it neither in an immature way nor in a mature way; just a way that everyone can enjoy.

I also largely credit his videos for getting me back into the Pokemon fandom, so I may be a little bias here.

I enjoy TamashiiHiroka and NateWantstoBattle. I especially love Nate's parodies. They're hilarious!

People like Shofu lol

Yeah, he's probably my favourite. Very good battler, explains his moves in advance and just very easy to listen to.

I haven't watched very many, but of the ones I've seen, Mr1upz is pretty funny. He makes videos about other video games too, but I've only really watched his Pokémon ones.

I used to like JWittz, but he only does Nintendo News now, which gets really old. Plus, his humor can be a little boring at times. I still love his older videos, but I personally believe expanding to all of Nintendo wrecked him.

I also like the very obscure Lueroi, who is considered by most of his fans to be dead. I'll agree with that once a full year passes.

I also only know NateWantsToBattle from the University parody or whatever, but it was funny. I might check out more of his stuff later on.

Lueroi... ehhh. I like his sincerity, I guess, the way he doesn't try to put on an act for his videos. But he usually brings up the same points again and again. I watched his Sapphire review and there was a lot of rehash. I mean, yeah, it's tough to keep going about a subject through 79 videos and still stay fresh. But sometimes it gets to me. He does do some funny things, though, like when he put up the wrong colour for his one Sapphire video title card. He's okay.

My favorite Poketubers are (in no particular order):

*Shofu - At first I saw one video of this guy and immediately stopped watching because I thought he was going to be the typical OU user with no imagination, but I was proven dead wrong when I continued watching more of his videos as he got more creative with his teams. I learned a ton from him and to top it off, I also love how funny he is!

*SpookyVenom1 (previously XSonictheH) - Very creative with his teams. I will admit, I am going to miss his Pokemon Battle Revolution videos (stupid wifi disconnection), and while he still continues to produce good videos, he doesn't upload much these days, unfortunately. Most of the time he doesn't add commentary to his videos, and that's fine! Sometimes I am not in the mood to listen to a Pokemon battle video with commentary, and it's too bad that trend is dying since almost all current Pokemon battle videos have commentary.

*dookieshed - Funny, FUNNY guy! I really enjoy his Nuzlocke videos, and while I tend to steer clear of top 5 or 10 whatever videos, his are lots of fun to watch.

*octaneblue - Another person who's Pokemon Battle Revolution videos I'm going to miss, but his current X and Y videos are excellent. Very creative with his teams, and that's what I love.

I love ShadyPenguinn's road to ranked videos and his Nuzlockes, but I also like Dookieshed and NateWantsToBattle.

So much yes on octaneblue and XSonictheH! I used to watch their Battle Revolution videos a lot and they were what made me start playing the game and get creative with my sets.

Suddenly I'm feeling a lot of nostalgia =P

I preferred his LeafGreen run, I found that much more entertaining. And I admit his humor can be a little... dry. But I like him all the same.

I really only ever watch Shofu and Shady Penguinn; Shofu's fun to watch, but Shady's a lot more consistent. I used to watch HoodlumScrafty, but his commentary, especially with Nappy, got too annoying.

I've watched several but I'm only subscribed to two and they are Marriland and TheJWittz. Their videos and helpful and they don't curse, which is plus for me because I hate when people curse. Plus, I really love JWittz's top ten videos and Marriland's nuzlockes videos.
