what were your favorite Nicknames you came up with for your Pokemon? For me it was:
Red Gyarados-Rampage
Quilava-Alpha
Odd Egg Pichu-Kylee

probably going to gameshark myself a Mew and name it Kitty. Anyway, what were your fave nicknames?

Ever since the first gen I've always had a Farfetch'd nicknamed Dux.

I have named every Female Mawile I have ever owned Makoto, because in my mind:

I have a Talonflame named Spitfire, which is a name I'm pretty proud of.
Can't think of any other of my better nicknaming work right now, but I will be back

I love the name's ripley and riley and have used them for a pokemon in every game. I love putting thought into some of the names, researching what they're based on or what they're similar too and then looking for an appropriate name to then use for them. Though, jellicent will forever be named 'juliecuunt' in my eyes because of a certain girl who looked liked a pink jellycent in a certain dress she wore....

I have a Poliwrath named Maelstrom
I like this name, gonna keep using it

I named my snivy F!jj. Idk why, but I like it, and I like using ! in place of the letter i

My entire Y team which had a Cowboy Bebop theme.

Spiek the Chesnaught
Jet the Blaziken
Vicious the Blastoise
Ein the Furfrou
Edward the Heliolisk
Faye the Goodra

When I was a kid I always nicknamed every Sudowoodo I caught "Rocktree" because I'm unoriginal.

Hmm, for the first four generations I always picked the Fire Starter and I always named them Hotshot.

When I finally got around to BW right when B2W2 was releasing, I immediately picked Snivy and named him Irvine. [emoji14] Still haven't started my B2...

Before I had my first game, yellow, I'd watch my bestie play her yellow file and her Pigeotto's nickname, Gusty inspired my own Pidgey nickname, Windy.
Once I got the game Windy was the first Pokemon I caught. I'd raised him to a Pidgeot, traded him over to my Silver file along with all my yellow bests and raised him to level 100.
My silver died in 2007 and took everything with it including Windy but I've never used any other nickname on a pidgey, Windy will always be sentimental to me.

My Ampharos in BW2 and XY - Martina
My Raichu in XY - Jeanne(-Luc Pikachu - from Electric Tales)
My Lucario in BW2 - Lilina from Fire Emblem

Houndoom-Pluto
Weaville-Mercury
Floatzel-Venus

Lets see you connect the dots.

I named one player character Zelda, so when I got a Chespin as my starter I called him Link.

I nicknamed my Sylveon, One-Above-All, in my re-run of Y, after the all-powerful entity in the Marvel universe (the guy above the living tribunal who's supposed to represent the author). And he just.... well he just beat everything in its path senseless. Even a M-Venusaur once.

Also liked Ozymandias for Lucario (from Watchmen, who obviously nabbed it from Rameses II), but it was fitting :)

I had a Tentacruel that I called Kraken. I liked 'releasing' it to battle.

Beyond that, I have a Vespiquen that I called M'Lady. And a Talonflame who was called Firefly.
