I couldn't find a thread on this, so I thought I'd make one. Everyone here has a favorite Pokemon type or two, no? Or a type you'd specialize in if you were a gym leader. ;3

So which type or types are your favorites? If you've seen my CR, then my answer is obvious, lol. Fire! It's been my favorite since I first played Pokemon. <3

And what would your team be if you were to raise one of your preferred type? I'd choose these for sure:

Infernape
Rapidash
Ninetales
Typhlosion
Flareon
Houndoom

After fire, I like dragon, electric, and dark. :3

I could've sworn that there was a thread like this, but anyway...

My favorite type is Dark, and after that Fire.

Can't really think of a team right now.

Grass, and then Dark for sure. :) I really want to see a Dark-Type gym. I remember when I first saw Dark - I was so happy because I just hated Alakazam in Gen I and Psychic abuse. :p

While my favorite type is Dark, but I rarely use it. Generally, I use Water, Steel and/or Dragon, since they are fairly useful types and I like them a lot aswell. Steel represents solid defense, Water represents cleaning and rain and Dragon is...well, dragon.

I'm surprised no one has said Ice yet....that's mine >.> My team would be:

Jynx
Frosslass
Cloyster
Weavile
Mamoswine
Walrein

The Fire types are my favorites because of there destructive force, the very powerful offense and my favorite Pokemon is Charizard, the second favorites would be the Water types.

Water
Fighting
Normal
Bug
Dark

Those are my favorite types, and generally the types I work with the most as well as build teams around.
As for a team... I think my Signature speaks for itself...

my favorites are electric and fire. So I would want a team with Pikachu, Ampharos, Luxray, Infernape, Charizard, and maybe either Victini or Chandelure.

Water, Ghost, Steel, Psychic, and Fire, in that order.

They are all awesome types and have amazing Pokemon standing for them.

Honestly Ice, Grass, and Rock are my least favorites.

Dark, Electric, Water, Psychic and Dragon.

If I name my least favorite type, it's definitely psychic. I just never like those Pokemon and I always have trouble battling them, even when I have dark type moves at my disposal.

Water types, agreeing with many other people up there. X3 Next would be Electric, Grass, and Normal (has the best variety).
Water Team: Politoed, Milotic, Corsola, Swanna, Azurill, Vaporeon
Electric: Ampharos, Raichu, Emolga, Manectric, Zebstrika, Pachirisu
Grass: Lilligant, Whimsicott, Bellossom, Leafeon, Meganium, Tropius
Normal: Delcatty, Eevee, Jigglypuff, Spinda, Chansey, Cleffa

Water types are my absolute favorites. They're well-rounded in both stats and movepools (I love ice attacks but not ice types usually; water types cover that for me) and there are many awesome-looking water types. (Some not so good looking ones too but all types have that problem.)

Plus, my favorite Pokémon of all time is Vaporeon. :3

My favourite Pokémon is a normal type but I like ice best. Ice has been my favourite since the first time I saw Articuno - before then it was water. <3 Although dragon and fire are rapidly catching up.
