Favorite region & generation

What's your favorite Pokémon World Region & Pokémon Generation? Anime & Games both.

For me, it's definitely Kanto, and Generation 1.

Sinnoh and Gen IV. I just love the Sinnoh region and its just something about the Pokémon that I like.. Plus Infernape is in that generation and its one of my favorites. It has my favorite early region bird, Staraptor, as well.

Unova and Gen V. Unova simply feels like home to me and the Pokemon... Well, I thought I had favorites in the past. But then I met a pair of Ground/Ghost types who became my all-time favorite Pokemon ever. And Unova's home to the one pure Fighting type I adore (Sawk).

Favorite gen is the second. Love the Johto region.

Favorite generation 2or4... I loved getting 16 badges

Favorite region though is Hoenn, I loved the map. I wish Sootopolis was bigger though...so much potential
