I was actually thinking about making this thread, but I never got around to it.

Mine would have to Blue, he was simply the most iconic and, in my opinion, most worthy rival you have. I loved the original end game twist of him being the champion, so awesome.

Silver comes in a close second though. Overall, I like his design and character more than Blue, but Blue was simply more challenging and more memorable.
 
I voted Barry. I just find him funny lol. I also think he's really cool in the anime. :3
 
Blue is my favourite rival since Gen 1, as I have said in numerous posts he has the most balanced and strategic Pokemon party in all of the Pokemon games in my opinion. His look is quite edgy as well especially in the later games, however I will say that Silver has the best look out of all the rivals I have come up against.
 
I'm not seeing any option for Groose, so I'll just go with the guy with the next best red hair.
 
Blue is probably the best rival, since he's actually shown to have improved, and actually became Champion. but as for favorite? Cheren. He seems like a really cocky, snarky little asshole. A guy who seems sort of cool in fiction, but you would hate in real life. And Arceus damn, he had the best theme.
 
of the game rivals, barry was the best imo.... he defiantly had the most spunk out of all the rivals in game :p
 
I fell in love with Cheren the moment they released the first picture of him. Don't even know why.
 
I thought Blue was an amazing rival, but all in all, I voted Wally. I just like how when you meet him he's even worse than you, then goes missing for a massive chunk of the game only to pop up near the end when you think you finally made it and smack you down unless you're ready.
 
Blue. Despite the obvious reason (Look at sig and profile pic) he's got one of the most balanced teams in the series. His attitude was annoying as hell, but its really not as if he didn't live up to it. If you're gonna talk a big game at least live up to it and he did! STILL the Only Rival to ever become a champion!
 
I like Silver's design and character growth the most, so I'll go with him.
