I say season 1 because its the start of everything

Season 15 is actually season 14

Season 1: Indigo League
Season 2: The Adventures in the Orange Islands
Season 3: The Johto Journeys
Season 4: Johto League Champions
Season 5: Master Quest
Season 6: Advanced
Season 7: Advanced Challenge
Season 8: Advanced Battle
Season 9: Battle Fronteir
Season 10: Diamond and Pearl
Season 11: Battle Dimension
Season 12: Galactic Battles
Season 13: Sinnoh League Victors
Season 14: Black and White
And that new season that just came out; I don't know what the title is, and I can't edit the poll.

If I'm wrong just tell me.

This is too difficult since the dub sections it oddly. For me, I cannot choose from the seasons that consist of DP (10-13)

Moved to the Grand Festival

I'd have to say 9 because it was in know way predictable, We got to see loads of Ash's pokemon, bits of kanto we never saw before, pokemon rangers, the best opening theme and one off the best movies to go with it

Wut... I don't know how they divide the seasons... but I picked Season 12 because my fav is around early-mid to late DP

I would have to say Season 1 because of the over the top ridiculousness it provided, while having a nostalgic value to it, a good one at that. I don't take it seriously, I have fun with it. The same reason can apply to Season 2. If I wanted to take the Pokemon anime seriously, then I'd watch the Diamond and Pearl arc. I think the writers of D&P looked back at the previous seasons and wanted to have a more structural story.

I love the show as a whole, but nothing will ever top season 1 as my favorite. It may not have the best writing, but my god it was just so much fun. It was the first time we were seeing what we would soon grow used to as the show went on, and it was just so magical and new, and it had so many crazy episodes and alkjadsfkj. Obviously the show has improved in terms of writing and stuff, but season 1 was just so much fun to watch that it will remain my favorite forever.

Season 1: Indigo League
Season 2: The Adventures in the Orange Islands

These were the true meaning of the show "Pokemon" and to become a "Pokemon Master." But after season 2 their was plot (but not relating to the goal anymore) no goal of becoming a "Pokemon Master," it was all diminished.

My fondest memories are of Orange Islands and early Johto. The former because I loved their the writers' new take on gyms; felt very different and appealed to me a lot as a kid, and the latter because I adored Johto as a region and found Ash's newly-caught Pokemon to be really entertaining. Chikorita being so possessive, Totodile's hyper-activeness, and Cyndaquil's timidness were like icing on the cake for me :3

As great as the first season was, when I try to remember my memories of the anime from my childhood it's mostly Orange Islands and early Johto that come up.

I really like the first season becaise it was the first, but MY GOD was the last DP season awesome! The Grand Festival ad the Sinnoh League fights were by far the best things Pokemon has ever drawn. They were so entertaining and I was disappointed that we wont see a continuation of the contests because Dawn vs Zoey (and the whole festival as a whole) was amazing. The battles in the Sinnoh league were something else! Noctowl, Quilava, Herracross and Pikachi showed why they were boss and not to be overshadowed. Truely awesome season!

my favorite by far is Battle Frontier (season 9). I like the various battles among other things

Sinnoh League Victors. The DP arc as a whole is my favorite all-time, because the development of the characters and the storylines etc. was done so well. But Sinnoh League Victors gave a satisfying finish to a bright and exciting arc of Pokemon. The best three episodes ever: Ash vs. Paul, Quarterfinal match. Game. Set. Match.

Runner-up: Battle Frontier. For its timely use of the most epic soundtrack in pivotal moments (the Jirachi Wish-Maker theme). Ash vs. Pyramid King Brandon; Charizard v. Dusclops, and Pikachu v. Regice. Yes, please.

I really can't choose between Battle Frontier, Sinnoh League Victors, and Indigo.

-Indigo for the nostalgia value- obviously, but also for the comedy and bond between Ash, Misty, and Brock. I like how it was just one full season- not a million fillers spread out into different seasons. I really liked Ash's team and how they interacted with each other; the Charizard factor was hilarious and the Bulbasaur/Squirtle friendship was adorable. The Butterfree and Pikachu's (almost) "goodbye" episodes were heartbreaking and memorable. I also like how Brock got the Suzy episode and, despite the fact that he's a doctor now, I liked how the show started to look more into his career as a breeder.

-Battle Frontier- The nostalgia value played a small part in my choice for this one; I just really liked the episodes. A lot of the fillers had interesting plots, which made it a lot different from the other seasons, such as "Time Warp Heals All Wounds," "Sweet Baby James," the Deoxys two-parter, etc. I was ecstatic when Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Charizard came back in "Gathering the Gang of Four." The Japanese opening was epic and perfect for this type of season, and I loved all of the cameos made within it. Temple of the Sea , although not my absolute favorite Pokemon movie, was definitely one of the best. Despite the nostalgia factor, however, it was interesting to see how May and Drew grew as rivals (especially in the GF), as well as the changes made to the Kanto Region (i.e. the BF). I feel like Ash matured a lot in this season, too.

-Sinnoh League Victors- One of my absolute favorite. When I first watched D/P, I thought I was going to hate the entire arc. I really only lost interest in the first season, though. In my opinion, this arc kept getting better and better, and the very last season was the best. We saw how each rival grew stronger and more mature- whether it be trainer or coordinator. By the end of their fantastic full battle, Ash and Paul's rivalry went from a fierce hatred to a respectful connection. Dawn, Nando, and Zoey were great in GF...alright, "Jessalina" was, too. XD Actually, speaking of which, I happened to love "Dressed for Jess Success!" I feel like this season really showed how Jessie was able to finally advance and become better at contests, even with a life as a Rocket. I loved both Japanese and English openings, and D/P 191 was very touching. The only thing I have to say that I DIDN'T like in this season was the sad (and barely there) excuse for a goodbye for Brock. No flashbacks, no remembering some his achievements, no nothing. But all in all, this was one of the best seasons I've ever watched. I miss you, D/P!
