Favorite Second-stage Starter?

There is never really any focus on the second stage of the starters so, I thought I'd start a little thread about that. It's always a huge jazz abough wich stage one starter is the cutest, and wich fully evolved is the cooles/most useful.

But which second evo do you like the most?

I always liked Bayleaf, and I think it is the only one that looks better than the fully evolved form! I also like Charmeleon, but Charizard is the top Zard, so it really don't stand out that much^^
 
My favorite second stage starter is Grovyle. I don't really like the designs of many of the others, so I chose Grovyle.

I actually tend to prefer the 2nd stages over the babys and final forms.
I like Ivysaur, Charmeleon, Bayleef, Quilava, Grovyle, Combusken and Grotle. Can't stand the others.
I like Ivysaur and Combusken the most though.
 
I like Monferno and Wartortle the most. Monferno is a fire type that can learn grass knot. Wartortle looks fancy.

See there is a lot of different oppinions here :p

Also, I also think Combusken is cooler than Blaziken, but thats because, in my opinion, Blaziken is by far the worst designed final starter..

That whole line should just be cut.. We have 'em all in gen V. Torchic ~ Piplup and The two latter ~ Monferno and Infernape, just that the monkeys are much cooler than the birds..
 
Grovyle and Quilava both look really good on their own. Grotle, Bayleef, Ivysaur, and Wartortle look a bit better than/as good as their evos.
 
It's a tie between Charmeleon and Grovyle, with Croconaw coming close second. Charmeleon just has a smug look about it, Grovyle looks BETTER than Sceptile, Croconaw just for nostalgia.

Amongst my least favorite are Monferno (I have a grudge against their entire evolutionary line) and Marshtomp simply because it's fugly
 
bayleef, mine had an everstone till about level 50 until i decided it was neccessary to evolve it.
 
Marshtomp, Bayleef, or Ivysaur...Or wartortle.
I actually like the second stages of the starter families than the third or first most of the time.
 
I like Charmeleon, Marshtomp and Quilava, but Bayleaf is pretty cool too.
 
Ivysaur - Badass flower and looks more agile and sharp than either Bulbasaur and (of course) Venusaur.
Wartortle - Water wing ear things and that cloud-like tail.
Bayleef - Chikorita, but with a more defined shape and a half-eaten leaf. Looks much better than Meganium.
Groovyle - Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.

I'll say Ivysaur. It's like a portable Venusaur that isn't being squished by a tree.
 
Kanto: Charmaleon
Johto: Quilava
Hoenn: Grovyle
Sinnoh: Grottle
Overall: Grovyle

All 'cause of their looks.
Grovyle takes the points with Leaf blade and spd stat.

Sinnoh: If I absolutely HAVE to choose...I still can't choose. I don't like any of them. At all.
 
Ivysaur and Combusken all the way. Grovyle, Marshtomp and Quilava are pretty cool too.

Not a fan of second forms otherwise. Awkward looking.
