Favorite Stat Trainer Episode?

In DP, all the stat trainers had their own episodes. Some appeared in two, some appeared in only one.

What was your favorite stat trainer episode? And why?

Easily Riley, simply because he was there for a Galactic 2-parter, which was a really good episode.

The others all essentially debuted in fillers. Cheryl's eps would be second.

Definitely Riley, the two-part episode was quite exciting and intriguing, and more related to the Galactic plot. He actually assumed a more important role in his debut when compared to the rest. It's just too bad that he didn't give Ash a Riolu egg...

I voted for Marley's ep. I quite liked her character and, after all, her episode featured one of my top favorite Pokémon.

I loved the Riley two-parter mostly because of Galactic focus, Barry was there being hilarious, Lucario looked awesome and there was something epic about them. My second choice would be the Buck episode, mostly because of Gible beating down a Golem :3

The Gen/Steel Island two-parter consists of probably some of my FAVORITE two episodes in DP, like, ever. I love how Jun was the catalyst for a lot of awesome shit going down, plus he got some really fantastic moments (it was these two episodes that had completely converted me into a rabid Jun fangirl) and the whole Galactic part was awesome as well. All the characters got very awesome moments (Satoshi/Takeshi team-up, wut?! Mars being this sadistic crazy psycho-lady that wanted to blow the entire flipping island up, wut?!) but in the epic built up on top of itself until Gen topped all of it. I've said it before and I've said it again, but I ADORE aura, the Lucario movie tops as my favorite Pokemon movie of all time, and I love all the nuances and references to it in DP (with the Riolu two-parter and this one). And Gen and Lucario were just so badass and awesome and amazing and not derailed or made boring vs. his game counterpart that those two episodes are hands-down the best stat trainer episodes.

LOLZ I, too just LOVED the Riley episode XDD The episode with Team Galactic was epic and it brought back memories of the Lucario movie - especially the last part where Riley and his Lucario both use aura to save the island. Not to mention he was extremely hawt in the anime XDDDDD

Marley comes second because of her personality and of course, Shaymin.

I voted for Cheryl's on the poll, but admittedly, it's only due to a single episode out of the three. But in my defence, can you really blame me for going with an all-time favourite? I don't think I really have to tell you the episode I'm most fond of heavily featured Gardenia, since that's the one everyone seems to remember.
I did actually like Cheryl as a character, don't get me wrong, but man. There was so much other fun stuff going on in that one, that she was surprisingly easy to forget. I'm not sure if it's Gardenia spazzing out of James' pokemon or Muku having the absolute pigeon poo beat out of him (coupled with HILARIOUS voice acting!) that cloud my memories of the aforementioned stat trainer's role.

Also, while I thought the episode itself was a total snore, I really liked Marley. I loved how cold she was towards Ash and Dawn in particular, and always felt they squandered a good opportunity for some fun character interaction by only having her around for that one episode.

I think I'm going to go with Riley just for the fact that he debuted with a two-parter that involved both Team Galactic and Barry. And the Aura deal was reused.

I really can´t decide.
Because I really like Lucario, but it would be mean to vote for Riley just for that reason.
Marley and Shaymin would be the same case.
On Cherryls episodes I mostly enjoyed Gardenia and all her "omg it is a grass type!"
The other two I barely remember so I think I didn´t find them very remarkable.

So it is maybe a tie between the first three mentioned. Maybe. *must repress the feeling I have to rewatch them all*

I voted Riley, since I can't even remember the others doing anything important, plus he had lucario. It would have been more emotional if he sacrificed himself to take down that bomb however..

Hands down, Marley's episode. Not only did Brock get some much-deserved spotlight and humor, but Marley's snarkiness was incredibly fun. Her "I'm an alien" line was the first joke in DP to actually make me laugh out loud.

I actually wasn't particularly fond of any of the episodes. For me, the Stat Trainers' presence was the only memorable aspect about those episodes.

Mai. Her episode was probably the most awkward Pokémon episode ever. I mean she first appeared asleep in a wooden boat randomly floating down a river and Satoshi and Hikari for the first time ever have second thoughts on helping a COTD. I guess those reasons make it unique. :-\

Shame Marley didn't have a long arc instead of that boring Cheryl. I guess the writers didn't want to give us too much laughter in DP.
