Favourite Encounter Theme

Some of the most overlooked pieces of music in the Pokemon games are the short themes that play when a trainer challenges you to a battle or an important character speaks to you.
Since so many players just mash the A button in these cases, they only get to hear the first few seconds of the piece, of which some are over a minute long.

Which encounter theme is your favourite, and why?

Mine would have to be the Alder encounter theme; it's so relaxing and it just fits him perfectly.

I also love pre-battle theme that plays when Elesa's Beauties challenge you, and Professor Oak's theme always hits me in the nostalgia.

Would the music that plays before you battle Shirona count? It's so intense and beautiful, while being very strong; much like Shirona herself.

For regular trainers, I like the theme from DPPt when you face a Sailor. It just sounds so goofy to me! I also like the rockin' theme that plays when approached by a Psychic in RSE.

I don't know why, but Cedric Juniper's encounter theme is my favorite. It is so relaxing :3

I also like Shirona, Cheren, Hugh, Alder and encounter themes.

Right now, it's between Alder's and N's remixed one from BW2. (it's so cheerful and reflects his development)

Honorable mention goes to Cynthia's. Now THAT is an awesome piano solo.

The music that plays when you run into N, especially the BW2 version just because it sounds so happy, showing that he's on your side now.

I also really love the rare encounter theme from the BW games (AKA Audino's theme)

The Team Plasma encounter theme from B2W2. It makes the team seem like a bunch of kooky yet threatening villains. Love the beat as well.

i normally just end up mashing the "A" button, but when I heard the encounter theme for the scientists...I love it...it's kinda creepy and catchy...

I also like the Plasma music when you encounter one of them. TBH most of the baddie bosses music is cool.

The Double battle theme from B/W, if that counts.

The Blackbelt/Guitarist Encounter Music from RSE has always been my favorite. I don't press A for a bit just to listen to it. And the Blackbelt music from DPPT too.

Silver's encounter music both the Gold and Silver version and HGSS version are other favorites too. Cynthia's music is a good third cause of that piano.

The rival one from Fire Red/Leaf Green.

The rival one from GSC and the Team Magma one are pretty nice too.

My favorite encounter themes are: the male trainer encounter theme from pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal; Colress's encounter theme from pokemon Black and White 2; and the Team Rocket encounter theme from pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal.
