since there are sooo many bad episodes threads, why dont we make a good episodes threads, your personal favourites:

My most favorite episode is Electric Shock Showdown. I just love that episode so much. And Raichu in that episode totally made it for me. It been my favorite Pokemon ever since, and Surge is just so funny in both languages.

And my 2nd top favorite is Pika and Golaith. I know everyone had their problems, but basically, the guy Sho made me laugh so hard, and I never laughed so hard in a Pokemon episode, and then of course Raichu and Kanto reference.

And 3rd top one was Camping it Up. Another episode that made me laugh so hard. Basically for me, anything that makes me laugh so hard, I end up liking so much.
 
Go West Young Meowth/Hollywood Heartbreak is AWESOME. I mean, as a kid I loved it and I absolutely HATED Team Rocket.

Others that I'm fond of are Pikachu's Goodbye, The Flame Pokemon-Athon, Pasta La Vista (I dunno why), and Gone Corphishin'. ^_^
 
I don't really have an "OMG this is the best episode EVER!" episode, but there is one that I particularly like...

"The Rocket-Dan! Love and the Origin of Youth" Yes, there's some major continuity issues going on, but the episode is so good it's easy to overlook. Being a Rocketshipper, it's obvious why I like this episode, but there are other reasons besides Kojiro falling on top of Musashi and Musashi blushing and shippy dialog as to why this is such a great episode:

Musashi and Kojiro get to be serious for once. As much as I like the goofy Rocket-Dan, I absolutely loved seeing them be serious for once. It really makes them feel like three dimensional characters when we see them take something seriously.

Musashi and Kojiro don't like each other at first. It may seem strange that I'd like that, but after seeing them be buddy buddy for awhile, it's really funny to watch them genuinely not like each other, and see how their relationship grows. I really hope DP117 gives us another glimpse of when they were like that.

It's a character driven episode. As much as I love watching pokemon fight each other, it was great to have an episode with absolutely no (pokemon) fighting, and barely any pokemon in it at all.

Not much Nyasu. Yes, I love the cute little kitty, but it's nice to just see Musashi and Kojiro interact without a certain someone butting in too much. (Looking at you Battle Frontier Rocket-Dan breakup episode.)

Did I mention Kojiro falling on top of Musashi and Musashi blushing and shippy dialog? Because those scenes were awesome. :-D

Man, these favorite threads get me making some long posts...
 
I forgot to mention the episode where Ponyta evolves, one of my favs, plus the electric showdown.
 
Cant beat the heat! My most favourite pokemon episode ever! It has a great battle, great ending and a great friendship all in the one episode..

"A Poached Ego" became my favorite episode from the very first time I saw it. Team Rocket had been my favorite characters on the show ever since Kanto, and to see them really step it up as heroes in the main TV series like they did in this episode was just awesome. The Team Rocket vs. Tyranitar battle is probably the most emotional moment of the entire series for me. It really defined what Team Rocket's characters could be if they weren't shoved into the comic relief antagonistic role.

Plus, the episode introduced the AWESOMENESS that is James' Cacnea. Hell yeah!

And that is also how I feel about the show in terms of a favorite episode, I have so many and I don't remember all of the titles of them either.

What are my favorite Pokémon episodes? If I'm thinking in terms of time periods, then allow me to list my favorite episodes, then citing my reasons for choosing those episodes. (There might be something of a pattern regarding my interests within some of my picks...):

1. "A Tail With a Twist" --> Jessie vs. Seviper
2. "A Three-Team Scheme" --> Teams Aqua and Magma's first "clash" together
3. "Gaining Groudon"/"The Scuffle of Legends" --> Teams Aqua and Magma's riveting clash
4. "The Princess and the Togepi"/"A Togepi Mirage" --> Colonel Hansen's plot to take over the Mirage Kingdom
5. "Love at First Flight" --> May's (successful) attempt to get Romeo and Juliet together
6. "Twice Smitten, Once Shy" --> Pachirisu's hyperactivity
7. "Mutiny in the Bounty" --> Pokémon Hunter J's first appearance
8. "A Secret Sphere of Influence" --> Beginnings of the Sinnoh Space-Time Legend
9. "Tanks for the Memories" --> Ash's concern for Dawn
10. "Enter Galactic" --> Team Galactic's emergence from the shadows
11. "Pokémon Ranger and the Kidnapped Riolu, Parts 1 and 2" --> J's mounting ruthlessness

Battling the Enemy with in is by far the best episode over they'll probably never make an episode like that again.
