Kanto: Blaine
Orange islands: Danny
Johto: Clair
Hoenn: Juan
 
Kanto: Misty
Johto: Jasmine
Hoenn: Norman
Sinnoh: Volkner

To be honest, I picked who I did for Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh just because they were the only ones whose names I remembered.
 
Kanto: Misty
Orange Islands: Drake (since he counts as the "final gym leader," if he is not a "gym leader," then Rudy).
Johto: Pryce
Hoenn: Norman
Sinnoh: Volkner (even though he has yet to appear in the anime)
 
Kanto; Erika
Orange; Atsumi
Jouto; Technically Mikan, but the anime version of her is so raped that I have to go with Akane (though I like them both pretty evenly in the games)
Houen; Fuu & Ran
Shin'ou; Natane

Poor Fuu, stuck in a sea of women. :p

Kanto: Erika, Daisy, Lily, Voilet, Misty and Aya
Orange: Cissy
Johto: Jasmine
Hoenn: Roxanne, Flannery, Liza & Tate. Does Shauna count (you know, brawlie's girlfriend)? No? Too bad.
Sinnoh: Erika, Candice

do brains count too? They do now.
Hoenn bf: Anabel, Lucy
(dahlia will probably be here too when she airs).

Why did I pick all those? Because they're hot, and that's what you have to be to be my anime favourite (well, at least the girls have to). Yeah, I don't really like the anime xD
 
Kanto: Lt. Surge and Sabrina. I would say Misty and Brock, but I consider them more as main characters than gym leaders.
Orange Islands: Cissy and Rudy.
Johto: Falkner and Morty.
Hoenn: Flannery and Winona.
Sinnoh: Maylene and Gardenia.

Johto: I didnt like any of them! And its my favorite region! D:
Hoenn: Tate and Liza were a fun twist
Sinnoh: Volkner or Roark. Maybe even Gardenia, just not in the anime -_-

Kanto - Blaine or Giovanni. Both very powerful and probably intimidating gym leaders

Johto - Pryce? but None really all very weak and unimpressive, which is surprising because there is are Ghost, Steel and Dragon gyms, each having good defenses

Hoenn - Flannery, shes fairly cool. Watson was way too hard in Emerald but i like his character

Sinnoh - Havn`t played but by anime personalities and Bulbapedia info - Byron and Volkner (Platinum only) - Volkners pokemon in diamond/pearl are stupid
