I find numbers pretty interesting. From an early age, 4 was really comfy to me - it'd look nice, it's a warm number, and when you're young 4 + x seems just a bit easier 7 + x. But 4's a little tame for me these days, I mean a 4 is nice, but I think π is just a touch more interesting.

π is a never ending sequence of numbers that surrounds us in everything we do in our lives, all contained within a delicate little package - π. When I was in high school, I knew of π and maybe some of the other celebrity numbers like i and e, but only because they were on my calculator. π is interesting to me because it represents everything I love about numbers. π is cool, even cooler than τ.

So what's your favourite numbers, from simple integers like 8, culturally significant numbers like 777 or wacky maths inventions like Graham's number?

My favourite number's always been 26 because it was my favourite channel growing up, despite living in three different countries. ^^;; When I was very very small, 26 was whatever channel Sesame Street was on. Then we moved to another country and 26 was whatever channel showed all the Spanish dubs of Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, etc. Then we moved yet again to a completely different country and 26 was Cartoon Network. ^^;;

Not really A number, but I always thought the Fibonacci sequence and the spiral were cool, despite not being anything anywhere near a math nerd (or at all good at math in any sense of the word).

Way too many. When it comes to integers, I like 0 1 2 3 4 5 7 9. 6 and 8 don't make the cut.
Reason: 0 is quite the interesting concept, it took ages for people to even accept it as a number. Fascinating number.
1: represents a single thing, my own self etc.
2: represents duality; it is easy to judge everything around us in a binary way. There are good reasons the binary system is this widespread.
3: I like the dynamics between a trio; three objects, three interactions between them.
4: the 4 elements, the 4 temperaments... it's 2*2, it's a square. nice stuff.
5: all those 5-man bands in all the shows I've watched make me like this number.
7: same for sets of 7 in said shows.
9: it's a 3*3 square. it's also a number of players I'm used to seeing in a mafia game.
6 and 8 just don't feel as awesome in comparison. Not used too much in media, not squares.
... I can continue in a similar fashion for all the numbers above. If the number has some "niche" that makes it interesting to me, I like it. If I feel like it doesn't, I consider it underwhelming and thus don't like it.

I like numbers like e, π, φ, i. sqrt(2) etc. as well because I like maths.

For whatever reason it's 47.

Honestly I think it was picked because someone asked me what my favorite number was and that's the first thing that came to mind, so I just go with that now.

42, the meaning of life, as well as 118 (number of currently known elements), 493 (Arceus's number, and number of known Pokémon when I was introduced to the franchise) and 108 (culturally significant).

15 is another one, it's a good amount of players in a Mafia game. It's the amount in Monty Python Mafia and US Presidential Election 2016 Mafia, the first two games I hosted.

100 because it is the first three digit number and the maximum level of a pokemon.

For some reason I always liked the number 7. I just find it fun to say and I like that it has two syllables.

13 and 31 has always been my favorite numbers. I've found it funny how 13 is called the unlucky number, though in Italy it's considered a lucky number instead with 17 being the unlucky number. For the number 31, I was born on October 31 so I guess I like it because it's on my birthday plus Halloween, also both are prime numbers so there's that.

88 ... tbh i have no clue why. it was second thing i learned to say when i was 1 years old and stuck with me ever since

That's a tough one, how about I give you two?

Two due to the fact that it's where the binary system is based off, which is very important in Computer Science and classical computing in general.

e which is approximately 2.71... because that's the number that comes up in nature a lot when dealing with exponential growth.

In my eyes, 2 is the perfect number (and 22 is a bonus).

Good things come in 2s. 1 is lonely, 3s a crowd. 2? A perfect pair. 2 shoes. 2 friends. 2 scoops of ice cream. It even sounds nice. This number just appeals to me.

(On a side note, I'll be 22 this year (y))

Seven, because any Potterhead worth their wand knows it's the number with the most magical properties. I also liked 386 since that's Deoxys' National Pokédex number. For some time I thought there'd be no more new Pokémon after Gen III!

And 28, because personal stuff.

I like the numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 (which was once my favorite number, and still kind of is my lucky number), 8, and 10 (and its multiples). I also like even numbers more than odd numbers for some reason... odd numbers have just always felt somewhat strange to me.

As for any mathematical numbers? Nah, not really. Math was never really a favorite subject of mine, so I barely know any of them anyway. That said, pi and square numbers have always fascinated me somewhat, out of everything I've learned in math class.

0, 7, and 649. The first two I've always had a liking for, and the last is Genesect's national Pokédex number. Just a nice number overall though =P
