Favourite Region

I was just wondering what everyones favourites are and for what reason?

Personally I would go with Kanto, I like the trip down memory lane. Also I think that it has the best set of starters as I love Charizard and Squirtle. Its also where it all begain. I dunno I just have a personal liking for the Kanto region.

EDIT: Change of plan. I would say that it is Sinnoh now. Have become bored of Kanto in HG/SS. Sinnoh is so much bigger!

I liked Johto, for what there was of it. I think that a fully expanded and built upon Johto could be really great.

Sinnoh definitely comes second, it's a fantastically designed region and has a lot of great variety.

Johto. It's just always been a favorite of mine. And then Sinnoh, Kanto and Hoenn, in that order (which in no way means I HATE Hoenn, mind).

I like Jouto and Sinnoh the best, maybe Kanto as well.

Jouto was good in the Games, but not as great in the Anime. I didn't like Houen that much, I don't know why, though.

I like all of the regions for a different region for each. Kanto gives me a sense of nostalgia, even small bits in G/S/C. Johto seemed to be the odd one out and had places that gave you a sense of being in the past. Hoenn was very scenic. It had lots of land, large oceans, a few forests, a desert, caves, the works basically.

I have noticed that no one has made a comment about the two other regions, but I'll go ahead and comment on them anyways.

The Sevii Islands were nice. The music and Pokémon reminded me of the glory days of G/S/C. It also reminded me of the Orange Islands in the anime. A double-dose of nostalgia. Fiore was absolutely gorgeous, for the same reasons of Hoenn, but even more emphasis on the scenery.

I can't comment on Sinnoh because I haven't seen the D/P anime and haven't played D/P.

My favorite region? I'd have to say Fiore. It's the perfect place for a vacation. In my opinion at least.

Orre, hands down.

I enjoyed Colosseum more than any game in the series.

This isn't about which game we enjoyed most. It's about which region we like most. And Orre was done on Gamecube, which gives it graphics that really can't be compared to the GBA/DS.

I'm aware of that. I'm saying that one reason I like Orre is that Colosseum was so enjoyable. I liked the whole desert/post-apocalyptic feel it had.

I used to like Johto best, but now I'm replaying Crystal and I gotta say I kinda like Hoenn better. It's so pretty, the towns are neat, there's rain and SECRET BASES... I think I like Hoenn best. Of course that might change in 8 days

I like Johto best too, I think. It just has the most historic feel of all the regions, and that's what I like best about places. Haven't seen Sinnoh yet, so I'm just judging off the others.

I think all the regions are great, but, My favourte region would have to be Johto!!! I just love everything about it. Plus it would turn nightime in the game, wich I loved The Pokemon where really cool also. Johto was where I started my love for Dark Pokemon! >;D
