I don't know if this has been done before (probably has) but I thought I'd make a thread where you say which Starter Pokemon from each region you would choose!

Kanto: Bulbasaur
This is a tricky one because I really like all of the Kanto Starters, but there's just something special about Bulbasaur. Maybe it's because it is the first Pokemon in the Pokedex, I don't know. Bulbasaur's brilliant in battle too; armed with Razor Leaf and TM Bullet Seed, he's virtually unstoppable!

Johto: Cyndaquil
The first Pokemon I ever owned in a Pokemon game. I just picked him because he was cute mainly, but he proved to be a brilliant Pokemon in battle! I used him rather a lot actually; in the end he was level 97 and all my other Pokemon were around level 40!

Hoenn: Mudkip
Just liked the look of him really. He's also the perfect "in-between" Starter; not too cute (like Torchic) or too serious (like Treecko). The added Electric immunity upon evolution is a bonus.

Sinnoh: Turtwig
My all-time favourite Pokemon. There's just something about him which really appeals to me, not sure why. I think it's his laid-back personality, combined with his cheeky turtle grin! :)

Anyway:

Kanto: Charmander/Squirtle

Johto: Totodile

Hoenn: Mudkip

Sinnoh: Piplup
 
Kanto: Charmander

Johto: Cyndaquil and Totodile. It's hard to choose.

Hoenn: Mudkip. I don't like his evolutions though. Treecko is the only one with evolutions I like.

Sinnoh: Chimchar
 
Kanto : Charmander (Cutest Pokemon EVER, and also my favorite Pokemon EVER)

Jhoto: Chikorita (Ash's Chikorita was so adorable, even compared to the other two)

Hoen: Torchic (Cute and very strong once it evolves)

Sinnoh: Chimchar (Yeah I love Firetypes....)

I would have picked Cyndaquil over Chikorita but I want a Bayleaf!

Kanto: Squirtle. Look at my avatar. My point has been made.
Johto: Cyndaquil. It's got Brock eyes and it's on fire. SPIKEY FIRE.
Hoenn: Mudkip. I liek them.
Sinnoh: Piplup. It's a freaking penguin.
NYC: Magnox. The fifth arm does it for me.
 
This has been done...a lot. Still, I think these threads are fun so to hell with it.

Bulbasaur is my favorite Pokemon ever!!! It has a certain something that I can't quite place. Regardless, it's been my favorite Pokemon since I first saw it. Although I do think that Squirtle is just epic and if the Bulbasaur line didn't exist, he'd totally be my favorite Pokemon

Totodile was my very first Pokemon. As such, it holds a special place. Though I adore Chikorita to death, Totodile wins because of this

It's really a toss up between Torchic and Treecko, but I'm going to choose the former simply because it's the only Fire starter I actually like. Really though, they're both almost tied

As much as I love Piplup (and I do), Turtwig takes the cake here. I've chosen it more than any other Starter in Sinnoh and it has never dissapointed me. Piplup had it's less than stellar moments and I just really hate the stupid monkey

All in all, I love the Grass types, but the Water types are sweet too. Don't really care much for the Fire types though (*gasp*) and no, I don't like Charmander, at all

This happens too much on this other forum I'm on.

Only difference is there it happens a few times EVERY week.

Honestly, stop making threads for the sake of making threads.

Kanto: :007: Squirtle :007: Just cuz it's so cute!
Johto: :155: Cyndaquil :155: Sort of same as squirt, but it has a little flame! And i have a killer typhlosion in platinum.
Hoenn: :255: Torchic :255: Started with it in emerald, loved it ever since. So cute!
Sinnoh: Piplup. Mainly because I started with it in platinum, and it's cute, too! (no emoticon for piplup though...)
