Can you guys help me compile a list of general things to do after you've gotten ALL badges?

I'm at the point where I have to face Trainer Red-I understand all the events that are triggered after you beat him-But I'm trying to bide my time until I get within the range of Lv80. Even then, what about after you beat Red (Besides the normal events of the game, e.g. obtaining the starters)

I'll start off with the obvious, such as:

Complete your Poke- and Unown- Dex
Re-Battle Trainers, including Red, Leaders, League, etc...
PokeAthalon Training...
Bug-Catching contests...
Obtain Shiny Leaves
Battle Frontier

What else...?

Can you really re-battle Red? I distinctly remember that being a one-time thing in the original GenII.

o.o; Naw, I rebattled him more than a handful of times in the originals. ^_^;

It's after you re-battle the Pokemon League, the events reset.

I remember beating red like a drum in Gold about every day.

Other things I would add to the list after Kicking Red's Teeth in the first time is breeding a team of Pokemon for Online play

Huh. Guess I never bothered to rebeat the League back in the good-ol' days.

This is true, you don't always wanna whip out your Legendaries. =/

Constant teams composed of Lugia, Ho-oh, Suicune, Entei, Raikou and [Insert Johto Starter here] would get old.

Play a different video game?

Read a book?

Raise chickens for actual cockfights?

Did you get the GB Sounds item from the guy in Celadon? It'll let you switch to the original music instead of the new one. It's not essential, but it's fun to use, especially if you love the originals.

How about training your main party Pokemon to lvl. 100 without cheats. I'm pretty close to that on my Platinum. They're EV trained too.

After I get all the badges:
-Challenge the Battle Frontier
-Try (and possibly fail) to beat Red
-Get the shiny leaves
-Try and give my current party all 5 Pokeathlon medals (Feraligatr is the only one among them with them).

That's easy. I did that before I even beat all the Kanto gym leaders. I also did that with all the legendaries I caught so far.

The medals are binded to species, not a single Pokémon instance. So if you traded to me, say, a Politoed (a Pokémon I don't yet have) with all five medals, it won't have any in my game, but you will still see it as a Medalist Pokémon in the Trust Room.

----

Did you already visit the Embedded Tower? It kinda belongs under completing the dex, but still. Also, there are numerous areas early in the game which can only be accessed via Rock Climb, so you might want to visit them for some extra items.

I see...guess it's back to the Pokeathlon, then.

I haven't beaten the game yet; I forgot to put the Embedded Tower on the list of things to do once I beat it. I also forgot about the Rock Climb areas.

Go on Smogon, and breed and raise (with movesets) every OU tier pokemon there.... XD. Or, just raise a few pokemon that you would have liked on your team initially (but didn't have room for), so you have a versatile team line-up - which is what I'm doing on Platinum, and will do on SS shortly :D.

Well aside from filing the pokedex and stuff you can stkll do the battle frontier near Olovine Cirt
