A split tail? Seriously, wtf?

I guess Ash's is male, lol.

By that logic, all the Pokémon seen in the anime up until now are male. Even those confirmed to be female. =/

Though I'm still waiting to see if female Bulbasaur is based on May's Bulbasaur...

Maybe we'll see some subtle design changes and they'll pretend they were always there?

I thought that this would be obvious ^^;

The female Butterfree from Kanto is different from the female DP butterfree. I think the games should ignore the anime in this aspect. It´s not really gamefreaks fault.

I was looking for male/female diffences in almost all new scans/pictures, but they always used the same gender for every screenshot. All poochama pictures we saw until now had a female one for example

I'm betting the more female oriented Pokemon (Roselia, Clefairy, Jigglypuff) the female sprite may be the "norm".

Intersting, it looks wierd to me, but that must get tough on the sprite editor
after a while when trying to detail 510-x legendary/nongender pokemon to look female.

I noticed Korobooshi's difference is the female has a bigger little "yellow thing" going around it's head.

I wonder how Lisa reacts to this...seeing as how she argued Ash's Pikachu was a girl for ages...

Korinku's female has less hair then the Sugimori Pic, which seems to be of the males...

It won't let me see the video. Quicktime is really gay, all I get is the freaking "Q" with the "?" in the middle. Anyone know what's wrong? I want to see that clip!

Homosexual!

Anyway, this might not even matter since it's a commercial, but the card in the girl's DS was black, not transparent or blue/purple/pink like some people are thinking.

Electroplankton's card was just black with a shiny label, it wouldn't surprise me if D/P follows the same as I'd imagine they're probably planning on keeping all the DS Cards the same - presumably to keep production costs down and production levels up.
