Female Protagonists in Remakes?

So as you all know, every game since Crystal has had both a male and a female protagonist.
Since RBY had only a male protagonist, do you think they'll bring in a female protagonist for the remakes?

I reckon they will, and she'll be just like Red, only a girl. Her name will be Green, and she'll have black hair like Red's, only with a ponytail.

Better yet, they should have a protagonist based on Green (US)/Blue (JP) from the manga. Which would be awesome since Green was scrapped from the originals, so now would be the perfect time to bring it back.

I imangine she be given a normal name like may and maybe April and have dark hair and light skin
