Few WiFi battle/trade questions

First off I was wondering where to go to do just random battles and fight anyone without having each other's pal pad numbers?

Secondly I heard that your are automatically boosted up to 100 so you don't have to level them. Is this true? I tried a battle at frontier with at level 41 and it was still 41 when I entered the battle.

Also how do you get the starters from games like gold/silver? I'm pretty sure you can't trade those over to FR/LG/E/R/S so.. yeah

Random battles, I think you might mean this, go to Battle tower and NPC on right will ask you to do wifi battles in wifi rooms, you connect to Nintendo WFC and download data on a room and battle the 7 leaders of that room.

I am not sure if your team gets boosted to lv100, read it might do and this is a good way of finding pokemon stats at 100, get someone to give you a lv100 wifi battle and then record your pokemon stats (this is in wifi only), but for level 50, I think your pokemon has to be lv 50 or higher.

Getting Johto starters... GTS trades or complete Hoenn dex in RSE and you get to choose one.

No the one in the battle tower, go to the counter and there are three people, its the one on the right, nearest the PC, I think the computer screen that tell your records is green or red or something.
