My lead, focus sash and protect are there to keep him alive for a few turns and pull off a swords dance, then baton pass out. Thinking of changing it the standard baton passing ninjask though.

i really like this team :) i've always had a soft spot for fighting types

the ninjask at the front is great, i battled someone with the same the other day, and they had subsititute instead of arial ace, and it worked really well, he managed to get in three swords dances then baton to a garchomp, which then went on to obliterate my team lol

if you like we could have a battle if you wana try them out :)

If you decide to go with NP over Roar, on Infernape, obviously don't go with Choice Specs.

You could throw a Ttar in there, because of its resistances to Flying and Psychic types, but otherwise looks pretty solid.. nothing else that I can think of =)

HP investment + Focus Sash on Ninjask is a pretty pointless. Give him Attack EVs instead. Other than that, looks good.

That much speed investment on a Ninjask with Protect is pointless as well. neutral nature with 24 Spd EVs let you outspeed all Scarf users after Protect or one turn out. But you might as well put it there since you're using Focus Sash/Protect instead of Substitute. Even so, switch to an Adamant nature. Also, Aerial Ace is barely going to do anything off of your attack. Switch it for something like X-Scissor.

Also, what are you going to do if someone brings in a really powerful special sweeper? Nothing on your team can take powerful hits from that side of the spectrum. Since Lucario and Infernape are basically fulfilling the same role, I'd say drop one of them for this.

Metal Sound on Lucario isn't that good. It is only worth it against a Pokemon if it would take you at least four hits to kill it anyway, and Lucario shouldn't be staying in against things like that. It can force a switch, but you could also just be taking the thing out in that time. There are better things to put on Lucario.

Roar does not go on Infernape. Roar is decreased priority, so it will always go last. With Infernape's poor defenses, he can't afford that. Stick with Nasty Plot, which is worth it, as it keeps the boost on Infernape after he's taken out an opposing Pokemon.

I don't know much about Hitmontop sets, and I'm not sure it's a good idea to remove Intimidate since it's such a wonderful ability, but switching it to Technician and CC to Mach Punch is also an option. Then you could have a nice powerful priority move and Aerial Ace would do something. Not so sure this is a good idea, but it is an option.

How about this spread for Jask 228 Hp/ 252 Def/ 28 Sp.D?

Should i use Stone edge over facade on Hera for more type coverage?

>.< just realised lucario learned calm mind, use it over Metal sound, or should i replace MS with another attacking move?

As for Nape should i use HP ice over roar/NP?

Thanx for all the replies :)

That spread is horrible for Ninjask. Just use 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe. Also might be a good idea to use X-Scissor instead of Aerial Ace since it's stronger.

Yeah Stone Edge would probably help you out more.

If it has Hidden Power Ice 60+, teach it Hidden Power. If not, teach it Dragon Pulse.

Use Nasty Plot, and it should probably be Timid. In fact it would be even better as Hasty and replace Vacuum Wave with Close Combat.

Thanx :)
Changes made in red.

Should i change Nape's spread now? also would a life orb be a better choice?

Standard special based mixape is 64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spe @ Life Orb.

Thanks for posting the Pokémon in the correct format by the way.

You need some sort of Flying-type and Psychic-type resist. Steel does both of these. You have Lucario, but it's also part Fighting, which makes both of these neutral, and it has pretty horrible defenses. Perhaps a Heatran if you have access to one? That'll take care of the fact that you have three Fire-weaknesses. In my opinion, if you're okay with removing it, Heatran should take Lucario's place, since the standard Heatran and Specs Lucario play nearly the same role. If you gave Miltank Thick Fat over Scrappy, it would have a pseudo-Fire and Ice resist, so you might consider that.

I dunno... it's just like once one team member is changed, it fixes the team one way, but screws it over another. I notice a lack of bulk for this team. Maybe consider some of the other Fighting-types? There's Gallade (could be bulky by giving it Bulk Up, an attacker by giving it Swords Dance, or even an annoyer by giving it, say, Will-O-Wisp and Thunder Wave; it also covers the Psychic weakness well), Machamp (good bulky Fighting-type with an interesting ability in No Guard), or Breloom (Spore + Focus Punch is awesome). And then some things to cover their weaknesses, like Magnezone (the most resistant Pokémon there is), Bronzong, Jirachi, and Metagross (4x Psychic resists, 2x Flying resists, and good Pokémon all around), Scizor (only one weakness and a solid attacking force), Skarmory (great defensive Pokémon), Registeel (if you can find a good one, very interesting Pokémon to use with some neat options), Cresselia (if you can get a good one, these things are completely amazing defensively), and Rhyperior (EXCELLENT physical tank, but really only useful in Sandstorm teams).

Look through, and if there are any of these that interest you, look up some movesets that fit your team.

Thanx again for the ideas :)
Sorry for the late reply, going to test play the team today. I'd rather not replace lucario but depending on how well the team runs i may have to. Anyways i'll edit this post after i've tested.
