After 2 days of working on it, I bring you...
The Pokemon Trading Figure Game Flash board!
How to use:
This is NOT a replacement for the game. This is merely a tool you can use to more easily play online with other people. You must have the ACTUAL real life figures for this to work. Sorry! No skipping out on that! ;D
You COULD play online against eachother in an instant messenger without this board if you wanted to, but it would be very hardto keep track of your opponents moves, or just more tedious with the big paper mat in front of your computer. This allows you to easily mark where your moves are, and mark your opponent's moves as well!
-The rainbow colored pieces to the left of the board are what represent your real-life Pokemon figures. Use a different color for each of your six figures. The pieces with lighter colors and white outlines are for the white side, and the darker pieces are for the black side. Move Points are indicated as well. This is so each player can easily reference how many MP each of the opponent's Pokemon has. You move these pieces on the board like normal.
-The Poison and Paralyze counters work the same as they do in the real game. They don't stick to the Figure pieces, but they move as well.
-The points on the board are numbered. Use those numbers to tell your opponent over a messenger where you moved your piece. (ex. "I move my yellow peice Spearow to number 12")
-The RESET button moves all the pieces back to their original spots. Don't push unless you're done with the game!
The board can not "connect" with the other person playing. When one person moves a piece, the other has to as well. The program is no more than a simple "Dress-up game" formula. With moving pieces on a background.
And the rest is all just like the normal game! It's perfect for playing games over an instant messenger program if you can't find anyone in real life to play with! It's generally just for keeping track of all your moves and being able to see the board in front of you like a real game, so you can better plot your next move and strategy.
You also REALLY have to trust eachother not to lie about your spins. NO CHEATING!
Hope this is useful to you guys!
