This might sound a bit crazy, but i think i know what the last ever pokemon game will be. Its this one. jk :loopy::lol:. i think it might be where the player gets to travel all over the pokemon world and visit all the regions (via soaring like latias. Except a few more pokemon will know how to do it.). The player will beat all gym leaders, elite fours, and champions. We meet and try to catch every legendary pokemon. The evil team will be a mix of all teams looking for revenge. I have no idea what they will be called ( you guys can make suggestions if you want). Their plan is to collect all legendary and mythical pokemon and force them to destroy the world. There might be another episode where the legendary and mythical pokemon get angry an you have to calm them. Oh, and also I might be writing a story about this.

There will never be a game with all regions in it, pretty sure there's a quote of Gamefreak confirming that, though I believe it may be fake.

There would never be a game with every important NPC in them. Some characters are extremely elderly (like Pryce) and the timeline so far is about a decade long, and it will only keep increasing. No way it would work in-universe. Maybe as a special edition or through Hoopa's time-space interference, but I doubt it.

The final game will not be intended to be the final one. It'll just be the last one made before the cancellation of the franchise due to lack of sales

Cramming major characters together into one narrative nearly always results in a complete clusterfuck. Pokémon Adventures tries to do it, and it's a good job that the manga isn't aimed at adults because the narrative barely stands up because of it

Having a game where you visit every region is suggested or mentioned by pretty much every newcomer at some point or another. Sorry to say it isn't going to happen. Sounds like too much effort for Game Freak to bother with anyway.

I'd like to see some other kind of force as the main antagonist besides another group of weirdly dressed humans. Maybe a force of nature, or an out-of-control legendary, or an eldritch abomination controlling one or both of the former could be the main problem for once. Or, rather, they could just ditch the "evil thing out to wreck the world" thing and have the antagonists be something like Team Rocket, except give the player a clearer idea of their cruelty.

A final game is unlikely as pokemon is an actively popular cash cow with little creativity actually demanded from it. What may be possible is a "final" parallel game, a game that links up to all main series games from some point on: think a Dream World with a storyline and plot and cartridge-dependent content. This game would never be replaced because new fans of Pokemon (and not necessarily of Nintendo) would have nothing of it: it could be modified and patched but never replaced, and so would be "final" even as main series games came along that were compatible with it.

That said, I think my idea actually does qualify as "cool" and, since it would be compatible with all of the games, it'd make sense for the player to have the ability to travel to all regions in some capacity, even if each region was scaled down.

I doubt that. Gamefreak knew that sales of pokemon would likely go down with gold and silver, and they tried to make this the ultimate pokemon game. I'm guessing it will go something like that.

I'm sorry to say that this sounds like a ridiculous fucked up cram. If the multiple regions thing worked for Gamefreak I doubt they would have dropped it after it's introduction in G/S/C and fusing all the teams together sounds like a giant mess. I also seriously doubt the final games will be designed with the intention of being so. I just can't imagine Gamefreak stepping down.
