Finding a Fic

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right forum, so move it if need be.

Alrighty, the reason I opened this thread is that I'm looking for a fanfiction that I found about a year ago on fanfiction.net and with the rate fics are updated/crappy fics are posted (IMHO, no chapter should be less than a thousand words, unless it's intended to be a one-shot or series of one-shots), it got lost in the shuffle.

My biggest problem is that I can't remember the title or the summery, or even the genre or author's screen name. What I do remember is the storyline. The story is about Ash's funeral, as he recently died in a motorcycle accident, and pretty much each chapter is made up of flashbacks from the characters present. Ash was leader of the Elite 4, but since he died, that kid with the Sandshrew and the perfect 100 victory streak was to take his place (I can never remember his name).

Some of the main pairings were: Todd Snap and Duplika Imite, Ash and Misty, Jessie and James (Team Rocket was taken down, too), and a few others I can't quite remember, but everyone was paired with someone else, and the only one who might've had an OC pairing was Brock, but that's because I probably hadn't seen the episode where he met the girl he married.

Can anyone give me a hand in finding it? I really should have added it to my favorites list...

That's the one, that's it EXACTLY! Thank you, Pikapi. Half the reason I couldn't find it was because I knew the story was complete, but didn't know that is wasn't MARKED complete! I was also looking under Angst and Tragedy, and it's Romance/Drama. So thank you very much, I've been wanting to re-read this for nearly a month now.

...There anything like reputation points that I can give you?

Well, I thought I'd use this again since there's another fic I'm looking for under just about the same problems as the first one. As a compound penalty (I think that phrase works), it isn't a Pokemon fic, but rather an InuYasha one.

In this fic, Kagome turns out to be a Hanyou (half-demon) whose father was a blue wolf/dog demon that was InuYasha's dad's adoptive brother (or something like that). Kagome's Hanyou blood is activated when her father, in the past, attacks her. The author(ess?) also did a companion fic in which Kagome is writing the original one, and InuYasha finds it.

Oh, and if anyone else wants to use this thread for help with finding various fanfictions, go right ahead. It'd probably be nice to have one place to go for help like that.
