Finding Kricketot

I've been all over, and the only Kricketot I've seen had a trainer already! And yet I'm positively tripping over Kricketunes...shouldn't the base form be a lot more prevalent than the evo?

The Pedia said I can find them at night, but I mostly play *at* night and I've yet to see a single wild one. Is that a misprint and it's only in the morning?

I've found alot of them. At night around the Jubilife area.

Blackjack, you NEED to get one. It's the coolest.

Why is it that I'm almost the only one who had no problem finding these guys? Kricketot was the third one I captured, I think. D:

Raising it was annoying, too. Dah. But it helped a lot with Wayward Cave, because I could drop both Cut and Flash on Kricketune guiltlessly.

I think I was expecting it to be found in more places, given that its evo is found all over the place.

You know, I've had the exact same problem. I have *yet* to encounter a wild Kricketot, but I've seen plenty of wild Kricketune. But it's fine...I can just breed Kricketune if I want one, and my friend said it's a bitch to level up anyways because it doesn't know any good moves or something.

I left mine in Pearl at the Breeding Center at level 10 (a Kricketune), and forgot about it till after the E4...resulting in a Level 54 Kricketune!

I'm doing the same in Diamond.
