Anyone find out by accident? I know my parents got me a gift certificate because I saw my mom writing a check and that was noted in her leger, and I've seen a few other things because she keeps them in her closet, which she'll open the door to when I'm in her room.

I used to hunt down gifts when I was a kid. Now I usually know because my mother wouldn't trust herself getting exactly what I want without me looking over her shoulder.

I have no idea what i'm getting this year as I didn't make a list or any such thing.

My mum just said she'll make sure I get a bunch of surprises. ^^

I'd like to not find out what they are but a few years ago when my Bro and I used to hunt them down, I did. It kinda sucked as it spoiled the surprise AND made me feel guilty for having done so.

I usually know. Because my parents usually ask me, "So, what do you want for Christmas?"

They tried to be more subtle the year I had saved up and was planning to buy a Gamecube... "How much are they? ...really? Hey, uh, how about you wait a little bit before you buy one..."

Considering my parents have no idea what I want this year (even I'M not sure), I don't think there is any way for me to find out.

But, in years past, I have always figured out what at least one present is.

I know what I'm getting because I picked it out. Sometimes I find a surprise too.

I don't usually get anything on Christmas day from my parents. Whether or not I actually do get something for Christmas from my parents... another matter - but if I do, it's usually because I wanted something.

Nowdays, I simply get money. It ruins some of the fun, I know, but everything's on sale for less than it was before Christmas in the New Years Sales, and I'd much prefer to get something I *know* I want, rather than a surprise useless gift.

I've really stopped caring about the surprise aspect of Christmas presents when I was 12. For the last 5 years or so, I would usually ask my mom to get me something, and she would usually deliver (For example, my mom is buying the same model dvd burner that my brother stole from me several months back, since it is a lower price now). A real surprise would be if I can get my hands on the Optimum Boost service (30Mbps/2Mbps). Even though I might not get that by the end of the year, I'm hoping to get it by Feb. or March.

I have a big familyso surpirse is big at my house. However I have my ways of finding at least one present before anything gets put in a bag or such, but i have yet to see anything. I much rather have a shock than "Oh i expected to get that!"

I'll probably get everything I asked for this year; I didn't really ask for much. I also always get a new watch.

I always know what I'm gonna get but I never know who's gonna buy it for me. Every year I get new CDs, new GBA games, and new GC games. I also get a few other things but those somehow manage to stay a surprize until Christmas day.

Well I know what I am gonna get this Christmas, and that is a digital-photo camera and a new computer..(I just talked to Santy Claus)

Now that I'm well into adulthood, all I ever get are gift cards and clothes. I can't find anyone willing to give me money. >:(
