So, anyone here love the Fire Emblem series? :3

Only half the series has been released outside of Japan, but I'm in love with all the games! I started playing them some more too recently, but kinda gave up when Ike got strength screwed in Path of Radiance (FE9). >.>

Anyway, speaking of which, IKE IS EPIC. His games are the best I've ever played and I fell in love with him the very first real battle he fought. I just loved everything about the guy as I kept playing. His personality, his cool sword skills, that godly awesome Aether skill, and of course, his awesome golden sword, Ragnell! I also think he's danged hawt too. Those muscles he has in Radiant Dawn... Dang... *drools* o.o

Radiant Dawn was even better than Path of Radiance, imo. I despised most of the ending and part 4 wasn't quite as epic as part 3, but I loved many of the battles and the characters returning from PoR got even cooler. Well, mostly. There are still some I really dislike (namely Soren and Geoffrey. DAMN YOU GEOFFREY FOR THAT DAMNED ELINCIA ENDING. Ike should've married her, not your sorry, boring, pansy ass... Good thing I never use the support system). So yeah, overall, RD is my all time favorite game and Ike is my favorite character from the series. <3

I also love the GBA games too, but I find them more difficult. I'm just not as good at strategizing in them. I can't use some of the tactics I've mastered in Ike's games, like the hit-and-run tactic with mounted units. I guess practice makes perfect though. :p Still, gotta love Sain. Sain rules out of the GBA games. Oh, and Ephraim too. <3

I think the best things about the FE series are the characters, plots, and music! They must make me want to come back for more and keep me curious and guessing about what's going to happen next!

Also, I don't care where I'm at, I'm always looking for FE fans. ^^

I love the Fire Emblem games. Too bad most of them haven't been released here. My favorite is Sacred Stones. It's also my first GBA game. ^^
 
Oh wow, I haven't seen many people say Sacred Stones is their favorite. xP

It's usually either FE7 or Radiant Dawn when someone is asked their favorite FE game as far as I know. Or if they've played Japan games, sometimes I see Seisen no Keifu (FE4) as their favorite as well.

For an FE game, I find FE7 overrated, to be honest. It's a great game, don't get me wrong, but I don't believe it's as awesome as FE fans say it is. I find the Tellius games to be much better.
 
To be honest, Sacred Stones and Shadow Dragon are the only FE games I've played. I like how you can play as either the guy or girl after chapter 8. I chose to keep playing as Erika. :)
 
I always choose Ephraim. He's epic. ^^

And you should play the Tellius games! They're the only 3D FE games so far, though, so it might take some getting used to since you've played only the 2D games. Path of Radiance is the first one and it's for Gamecube. Radiant Dawn is its direct sequel and is for the Wii. Ike is the lord character of both, though Micaiah gets a short main role in Radiant Dawn as well.
 
On Chapter 26x in the original(english) game.
Rating: 9/10
The gameplay is great, the characters are interesting, and
Nergal is one of the scariest villians I've encountered. I mean, THE EYE.
Eliwood sucks in battle but is cool anyway.
Lyn is awesome, but I think the main idea in her creator's minds was fanservice. (Sol Katti attack, anyone? :sweatlol: )
Hector is pure fluxing beast. :smokin:

Is Fimbulvetr obtainable without hacking? Or Purge?
 
Strange, Eliwood's always been better for me than either Lyn or Hector. Hector got killed too much while Lyn was just mediocre. Eliwood, on the other hand, owned like everything. He criticaled a lot too. Also, I only ever lost him once. Other than that, he either dodged a lot or dodged at the last minute. He just wouldn't go down. o.o
 
I'm a fan of tactical RPGs, so I need to play my brothers copy of FE Path of Radiance (for cube).
 
I haven't gotten Durandal yet, so Eliwood is still a Lord. Hector and Lyn are Great and Blade Lords, so maybe that's why.
Hawkeye is my one-man army. I send him on missions that would be suicide to any other unit, and he always comes back alive without the help of a healer or rescuer! He took down an entire squadron of Wyvern Riders/Lords with 30 HP to spare!
STILL stuck on Night of Farewells! Wishing I never accepted the sidequest!
QUESTIONS:
Is Raven worth using an Earth Seal on? Or is there another Hero Crest somewhere along the way?
And who should I use my Guiding Ring on, Priscilla or Lucius?

EDIT: Nvm, already used the Earth Seal on Raven. He kicks ass.

I have all the Fire Emblem games released in the U.S, but I only finished Radiant Dawn. :D:D

Treasure collected: Fell contract, Speedwings (Used on Priscilla) Fenrir tome, and something else.
Whenever I start Ch. 27, Nino says she might be able to talk to Linus. Is Linus recruitable or will he just try to kill her?
 
He won't attack her, but he'll start to move.

I'm actually more active on a Fire Emblem site than I am here. I actually prefer 4 and 5 in the series. Thracia is fun, but at times the fatigue system is annoying.
 
I mean I guess. Most people really only have trouble with COD when they're trying to rank it.

Or in drafts.
 
I'm trying for a no-death run, so that adds to the challenge. What do you mean by "rank it"?
And every time Serra dies, I laugh. "Ooohh, why me? This is SO annoying!"

For rankings. That's what the various Fortunes tell you. You're ranked on Survival, Combat, Experience, Tactics, and Funds. Most people try to get 5 stars on them for HHM.
