So I was discussing something with someone on here and I recently brought up the fact that I had done an FR/LG draft a little while ago. I had a little trouble explaining it, so I thought it'd be easy and kinda fun to show rather than tell.

The point of this draft is just to have fun, there's not really any competition. We draft snake style (So persona 1 goes, 2, 3, 4, then turn around, 4, 3, 2, 1) and then you play through the game up to the E4 with the team you selected. There are 72 lines, so that allows 6 people + starter for 12 people.

HM slaves are allowed, and the Poliwhirl for Jynx can be caught but not used in battle. Please don't pick a pokemon for the game you aren't playing.

I apologize, but I'm a bit confused. Can you explain in more... detail?
 
Everyone would pick out of the list of pokemon and then you'd play through the game using that team.

So person 1 might pick Slowpoke, person 2 picks Oddish, person 3 picks Pidgey. Then they would use them on a team through the game.

even if nobody else wants to do this, I've been meaning to use the fairy anyways

Um, guys. THat's not how the draft works. :/

First we need more people, and second of all, once you get the number of people, you PM me with a list of 10 people. Then they're drafted snake style, so guy 1, guy 2, guy 3, guy 4, guy 4, guy 3, guy 2, guy 1.

You don't just start picking people willy nilly.
 
I think I get this. So essentially we make a group of ten of us and you pick a random team for us which we have to use in game. If this is what you do then I'm in who's with me.
 
Still count me in. Even though I'm a tad confused, I'd like to give this a try.
 
It's like a schoolyard style pick.

You only send me the lists so that I draft a bunch of people at once rather than it taking forever for everyone to draft.

If we get 7 more people so that we have a full band of people to draft, then I'd be able to show and explain better.
 
I totally understand now. you do pick teams like people were doing it before but you have to have everyone together to do it so you can pick the order of choosing and such like. I must admit its going to be difficult to do considering peope will probably be on at different times but I'm still in. To be fair I dont really see the proble with what people were doing before but its your thing (My first pick would be snorlax.)

No, it works like picking a team in school when all the people have said their interested you pick a team of six pokeon and everyone will have a completely different team.
 
It was originally to do with the number of people that were going to be part of it but there's now going to be twelve people.
 
You send me a list of the top 10 people you'd like to use as your team.

Then I draft in the order I have. So like if you and sharktooth both want Pidgey, that's too bad, because he comes before you, so he gets Pidgey.
