Just a thought
I mean there are bound to be people who like Zoey for Ash
After all, She's a freaking Top Coordinator & first successful rival ( I don't hope Writer do the same with Ash's Rival just to break Zoey's Record )
And her personality much stronger than Dawn
When it come to Beauty then hey, I'm still believe Angie might show up with long hair which make her look beautiful & she Declare herself as Ash's rival
So Why can't I believe Zoey show up with long hair which turn into a beatifull girl & she travel to become World Top Coordinator ?
 
I like this ship. It's bad that there were no ship hints for them. I like this couple.

Not quite- Though I do not full support this ship, yet, I have a certain fondness for it, due to what you said, Zoey's a strong trainer with a confident personality, and I think she'd have some dominance. And I kind of like female dominance in some ships, or an equal dominance.
However, yes, it's not exactly popular...

Eh, it was already broken in AG. True, most don't count him as a "proper" Rival as he only appeared in the Hoenn League, but Tyson became the Champion of the Hoenn League, and he was Ash's rival and friend.

Longer hair doesn't necessarily make you more attractive. But, a survey showed that averagely, heterosexual men are more attracted to females with long hair, no matter what they look like. Still, that's an average. Not all heterosexual men are attracted to that. Anyways, I don't believe that looks will push Ash's affections, but yes, they do have some effect.
Also, I think Zoey's rather pretty with short hair.
 
I liked this pairing when D/P was on, whenever they had scenes together it was nice. Will Zoey ever come again just for Ash? It'd be nice but...
 
While I support other ships, I always thought this one was really cute. I certainly wouldn't have minded it if it had been canon
 
I always liked this pairing, the excruciatingly few moments of hint-ships that I could find were few and far between.

Almost like a behind closed doors relationship that no one was to know about.
 
Two hints that I found was that Ash appeared excessively eager to impress Zoey, even by Ash standard with the coal badge

Another is when Ash goes to battle Fantina, Zoey is sad that she isn't there to fight him. Ash then cheers for Zoey before Dawn in the contest even though he know that by Zoey winning would mean Dawn losing.

Those are really the two I could find, anyone else have any??

i always thought of zoey really being into dawn more i never considered her and ash but now that you mention it does sort of work.It's a bit like pokeshipping but with the advantage of zoey being a co-ordintor(so very different battler to ash)and less agressive than misty but still angry enough(i think ash needs a slightly angry girlfriend to kick his butt when he needs it) Also they actually have had multi episode interaction unlike a lot of ash ships.I like this ship now.

Thinking back I think the best hint is when zoey apologised to Ash for geting angry at ash for doing both contests ang gyms.And the fact that she got angry that ash wasn't a co-ordinator full time could sort of be a hint.

actually even if it would be interesting that this ship would exist, the problem is the HUGE fanbase of appealshipping and the fact that seeing how things are zoey is probably a lesbian, but for this shipping i could see zoey after getting top coordinator decides to fight to enter a league and have ash help her and then (ahem.....) but that's just me
 
Same although I can see the relationship being slightly more rocky then that. Think of a rubber band, Stretches, almost breaks, releases, stretches again. This how I see their relationship at first, because let's face it. There are issues that need to be addressed. And Yes the enormous mass that is the appealshipping fanbase is certainly not helping. I never considered that she was Lesbian, I just assumed that she was like some of my friends, as in more friendly and (ahem...) open with members of the same sex then the opposite sex.
 
Ash & Co went to a place and find out about a conference where a lot of Top coordinator will gather.
Ash start to explain Contest to his gang while all boy fawn over a Red hair girl who was walking by.
She Spot Ash and greet him but Ash has no idea about her identity until She reveal to be Zoey who look more feminine & prettier then before .
So , Who want to see this happening ????

Because its fun & Surprising that way !
a girl who look totally boyish and an unattractive boy show up after a long period of time and they look completely different from before which surprise's the Main Character.
I love it.
Plus , Let be honest
A lot of Boys try to act look saying look doesn't matter but majority of Boy's actually like Cuter girl more.
I also wish that Someday Ash will turn 12 and he will look similar to Red (Adventure).
Or At least more taller , Kid-like and thin but not Muscular.
AG Ash look kind of Muscular and too Adult-like which is why I didn't like AG Ash.
While BW Ash look too much like a 7 & 8 year old kid.
