Better quality version here.

Not exactly impressed with this, so far. But I didn't really think I would be. It's just...missing something. Not sure what, though. Ah, well, now to go back to waiting for the Avengers trailer to get officially released.

I haven't really seen anything so far about this movie that makes me too interested in seeing it besides Stan Lee's purported cameo. I'll probably see it, anyway, but I'm not expecting too much out of it. Still wondering why they're rebooting the Spider-man movies already. We just got done with a perfectly serviceable Spider-man trilogy less than five years ago...

Oh, and Marvel did release an "Avengers" trailer, according to the reports from early showings. It's supposedly the stinger after the credits in Captain America.

EDIT: I understand why the previous cast had to break up, but I still think we could wait a while before starting another Spider-man series. It's just too soon, in my opinion.

Sam Raimi left over creative differences (he wanted Vulture as the next villain. Those in charge didn't), and the rest of the cast left as well. Meaning we either get a Batman Forever-style renewal of cast, or we get a reboot. A reboot offers a new beginning for fans (old and new. Keep in mind, the first Spider-Man film was released a decade ago).

And I'm waiting for them to officially release it online. The shaky movie theater version is too dark to truly show the awesomeness contained within.

I'm not liking it. Not at all.

Maybe I'm just stubborn, but I can't see this guy as Peter Parker.

I can't either. Of course, I couldn't see Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man either, so my judgment may not be the best.

No, I've got some high hopes for this. Anything will be better than McGuire's poor portrayal of Spider-Man.

The trailer's resemblance to Mirror's Edge, I think, is what ultimately put me off from this movie. Not only was the camera work unoriginal, the environment seemed to be very heavily editted, so much so, that we can find resemblance to video game texture. Was really expecting more from a Spiderman reboot.

I do like the new casting of the movie. McGuire and friends' performance in the 3rd film was disappointing.

I think the reason they are starting the series over again is because the last movie was such a flop. The fans were pretty adamant about hating it....

No matter how good or bad the movie will be, people will unfairly compare it to the old one which is quite unfortunate.
