Hello Pokenauts!
Just joined the forums in anticipation for X & Y!

I've used Serebii.net for years but discovered this as an equally valuable resource. Now that we're looking towards a simultaneous release, it'll be nice to not have to seperate japanese rumors and such in favor of everyone getting info at once.

History:
Began with Red/Blue and played a lot in high school
First big event was the Dioxys release
Lost interest around the Diamond/Pearl age as there was a real lack of other players

Moved to Portland to find they have monthly Pokemon meetups!
Got my 480 pokemon back and trading them all into BW2

I got my passport for the World Tournament in Canada but will have to miss it this year due to funds and a guaranteed entry into the competition, something I hope to take on next year!

X/Y should be pretty exciting, and it seems you have been playing Pokemon for a long time. I like the worldwide release of X/Y myself as well. Welcome to BMGf, and I really hope you'll have a great time here. See you around.

Hi there, Mappyman! Welcome to the forums! I'm quite hyped about X/Y as well, though I must ask: what made you excited about the games? When I kept seeing the trailers of Pokemon like the starters themselves in battle, and how the battle scenery was and everything else (I gotta tell you, for a Pokemon games, the graphics are flipping amazing). Orotto is also another amazing addition of a Pokemon, I mean who wouldn't be happy about seeing an evil tree? xD
