Ok, so this is the first Rain Dance team that I have made, I'm hoping that it is ok, and thanks to all that help me with it.

Bronzong @ damp rock
ability:levitate
nature: relaxed
Evs: hp/252 def/252 spd/4
-rain dance
-explosion
-swagger/stealth rock
-safeguard/gyro ball
bronzong is going to be what im using to set up my rain and the damp rock will keep the rain going longer. then i will set up safeguard to protect from confusion from my swagger i will use on my other poke that is out with bronzong. then once my bronzong is low on hp i will use explosion to hopefully take out the opponents pokes. also i have stealth rock and gyro ball on there incase the swagger safeguard idea isnt the best, i have had it work pretty good tho on my other team for the vgc.

Azumarill @ life orb
Ability: huge power
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
Evs: atk/252 hp/156 def/120
-protect
-superpower
-waterfall
-ice punch/rain dance
Azumarill is in with my bronzong to take the atk boost from my bronzong's swaggers. then Azumarill will have a boost from the swagger and the ability huge power. with the boosts i can sweep with stab moves like waterfall and superpower. i also have protect on there since bronzong will be in at the same time and will use explosion at some point so protect will keep Azumarill safe, and rain dance is on there in case the rain is stopped by a opponents poke.

Ludicolo @ expert belt
Ability:swift swim
Nature:Timid
Evs: spa/252 spe/182 hp/30 def/22
-energy ball
-ice beam
-swords dance
-surf/seed bomb
Ludicolo is one of my rain dance sweepers, with the rain set up ludicolo is super fast and his water atks gets the boost from the rain also. swords dance is also on there so the atks get even stonger and ludicolo can just destroy. surf is a little more favorable for me because i can use it with my vaporeon in so that vaporeon gets heatlth back because of its ability water absorb.

Vaporeon @ leftovers
Ability: Water absorb
Nature: bold
Evs: hp/252 spa/236 spd/20
-ice beam
-protect
-surf
-signal beam
This set is the same as the set for the vaporeon that Im using for my vgc team. this vaporeon is in so that it can take surf from ludicolo and recover with it and also stab with signal beam and ice beam. protect to keep him safe from electric switch ins and surf for another stab.

Starmie @ ?
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Timid
Evs: hp/136 def/156 spe/216
-thunderbolt
-recover
-rapid spin
-surf/toxic spikes
this starmie is somewhat of a standard starmie set, it has thunderbolt to take care of substitutes and stab after the sub is gone, also it can switch in to stealth rocks/spikes/toxic spikes, spin them away and then set up my own toxic spikes. then switch out to get rid of a posion if toxic spikes were up becuase of natural cure. statrmie is fast so that i can do all of this quick and then recover.

Jolteon @ leftovers/Petaya berry?
Ability: Volt Absorb
Nature:Naive
Evs: spe/252 spa/126 atk/126 hp/4
-Thunder
-charge beam
-baton pass?
-substitute?
This is on my team to be my electic resist, also jolteon gets in to stab with thunder in the rain, and use charge beam to get spa boost and the petaya berry for spa boost also, then i have baton pass to pass the spa boost to my ludicolo and power him up more making my ludicolo even more beastly. kinda unsure about this jolteon tho.

So that is my team for a rain dance doubles, first time so i hope that i did ok with it. Thanks to all that rate my team. :D

nice looking team, i know very little about rain dance team or double battles

but two things i noticed are
you need someone else with rain dance, 8 turns of rain isnt gonna cover an entire battle

and on vaporeon, take off signal beam and put somthing more useful like toxic or protect, because a STAB surf will almost do even more than a signal beam even if it's super effective because of the STAB and rain bonus

oh and noone's going to try and influct status or confusion on a bronzong, so i dont think safeguard would be that good. i think gyro ball/stealth rock would be better

other than that nice looking team :)

Um.. what's with Swords Dance on Ludicolo? It doesn't have any physical moves on that set (save for the redundant Seed Bomb, since you already have Energy Ball).

I'm experienced with Rain teams, but not in doubles.. so sorry if I can't help much. ^^;

ok, yeah i dont know why i put swords dance on ludicolo, i guess i was thinking that i has some physical moves on him, thanks, and thanks jimmiinthesky for the vaporeon help, i think i will probably add the toxic to it.

That isn't his reasoning, read his explanation again.

Don't mess with SD Ludi. >=] It makes the opponent think it is special, and switches Blissey, etc and then gets surprised with a SD. It 2HKOs/OHKOs a lot of the UU (don't know about OU). It is like SD Luke. Although, use Adamant>>Timid, Waterfall/Ice Punch>>Ice Beam. You need to have a powerful water STAB, and I would just use Waterfall/Ice Punch>>Surf, as you already have a few to use Surf, and taking away coverage just to heal 25% for Vappy isn't good at all. =\

Anyways, use Toxic>>Signal Beam on Vappy. =3 You have nothing to to take Electric attacks, something with Discharge will kill you. Use Jolt (YES =D), or something that can resist Electric attacks. I will come back for a full rate though~

Maybe he meant Rain Dance over Swords Dance? Dunno... but it doesn't exactly fit on this set. Swords Dance Ludicolo does absolutely kill though. It's quite a sight to behold.

Why are there only five Pokémon on this team? For a sixth, I highly recommend a Dry Skin Toxicroak, especially a Life Orb version. A Surf will heal Toxicroak for more HP than is taken from Life Orb's recoil.

since you only have 5 pokemon, I would use a pokemon with thunder (and maybe a water attack) on the sixth slot. Electrivire maybe? when someone takes advantage of the fact that you're all water type bu using electric moves, just send in elctrivire and thunder/ earthwquake

hows about a lanturn? i've always loved him, and you'd get stab from thunder :)

ok, i forgot about my jolteon, just added it, and for vaporeon im going to use toxic instead of signal beam. and im going to keep the swords dance ludi like wolflare said and probably give my ludicolo a moveset change like wolflare suggested. thanks

oh, I've noticed one more thing. Give rain dance to another pokemon with a damp rock, Because Bronzong alone already takes up three turns of rain. And use some pokemon after the rain's gone, since stalling an opponents toxic also uses up your turns of rain.
