The Legion of Super-Heroes. Pretty much the last team (aside from the JSA) in the DC universe. They made an appearance on Superman: The Animated Series, and are set to appear on an upcoming episode of JLU. Now, they're set for their OWN series. A team that's had about as many members as the JLA (if not more), and has at some point included both Superman (as Superboy) and Supergirl, is going to get their story told on the small screen. Sadly, the following quote is all that's known about the series:

Andy Milder has been cast for the voice of Lighting Lad in the upcoming animated series featuring the Legion of Super-Heroes, The Continuum has learned.

The series, from Warner Bros. Animation, is expected to be announced soon. Creators from both Justice League Unlimited and Teen Titans are involved in the project.

Milder played Dean Hodes in Showtime's Weeds. He's provided voices for such video games as The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, Vampire: The Masquerade -- Bloodlines, Men of Valor and Star Trek: Elite Force II.

Look for more on the series soon here in The Continuum.

Although, I think it's pretty much guaranteed that it will (at some point) be shown on Cartoon Network (who knows? They may start it off on Kids WB or...WC...or whatever channel WB will be involved with).

Many believe that this show is the reason Teen Titans is getting cancelled.

That, and because the show's ratings haven't been so hot lately.

The big question is, who's going to be in it?

Yes...they are. But they oddly work with some of the stuff WB and CN have been doing lately. Hopefully the writing will be good, although I'm thinking it won't. Call it a hunch.

I'm getting a very Krypto the Superdog/the Batman vibe from this series.

In other words - toilet water.

Gotta find out who's the creator. See if he matches up with Krypto's creator (although he said, jokingly or not, that he wanted to do a New Mutants series aimed at pre-schoolers next, so...) or maybe The Batman's. That'll give an indication of where it's going.
