Be it a measly trainer battle or a boss fight. a battle against a friend or someone you fought with wi-fi. tell me. when did you lose your first battle in pokemon?

Heres my first time:

In daimond, i was going through the gyms and bosses easily dispite it being my first pokemon game (i got hooked as a kid but never could be ahold of a game till 2007) and i was doing great untill i got to victory road. unbeknownst to me, i was WAY underleveled. i still managed to get through victory road without a game over, but then, the Elite four happened. i got to the first one, arron i belive, and i stuggled, but i won eventully. then on to the next one, i was almost wiped out, but managed. then i got to flint, he kicked my ass so hard i got a headache from sceaming in frustration. next try, i got past him, but got PWNED by the 4th member (i forget his name, but he used psychic types) i kept losing. i could only win once i borrowed my friends Lvl. 100 Empoleon. :disgust:

So, what about you?

That kid with the Blitzle on the Route between Nacrene and Pinwheel gave me a lot of trouble for some reason.

Brock, back in Red. Charmander was not made to take rocks to the head it turns out.

The first i lost a battle was with Cynthia in my diamond version...effing garchomp... :disgust:

Brock in Red (quite common) I lost because I only had a Charmander, Caterpie and a Pidgeotto! But I certainly gave him a run for his money the first time around.

Oh I did get my revenge on the next attempt and destroyed him!

Petalburg Gym Leader in Emerald. n_n his slakolutions are annoying as fk. Took a few tries but I eventually owned him >:)

Lance on Silver. First game, first playthrough, I put all HMs on my Lv. 68 Feraligatr (Whirlpool, Cut, Surf, Strength) while the rest of my team was either Lv. 40 or less. orz Took me all that time to realize the importance of team building.

The stupid freakn' trainer from the stupid route by the stupid Fourtree Town. THE ONE WITH THE STUPID SABLEYE!!!

The Three Trainers That My Level 95 Blaziken Lost to:
A Trainer By the Route near Fortree Town (Just finally managed to avoid her sight.)
Mossdeep Gym Leaders Tate & Liza (Stupid 4x Resistence)
Elite Four Phobe (F.U. Phobe. Just F.U.)

I don't remember that stuff. I was seven when I got into Pokemon, I barely remember anything about playing the game.

What I do remember is that I would restart my game everytime I whited out so I don't know if that counts or not. I played Stadium a lot and probably loss many times to my brothers so, there are those times.

I hesitate to say this but I think it was Will in crystal. First time I remember anyways. His Pokemon were higher than mine which was weird cause every fight before that mine were always the higher level. In other games I winded up losing to early gym leaders. Lost to Lenora twice in my first gen v play through. The thing about the Elite four is the difficulty is artificial cause the AI can get pretty stupid. So to respond to artificial diffuculty I power leveled all my pokes to lance's level. Take that Lance!

It was probably in the Elite Four in Silver. I remember having a lot of trouble with them back then.
