Five Friends' Treasure Hunt and Take On the Talented Friends events return to Pokémon Masters EX alongside Juliana and Florian Master Fair Scouts

A set of events and sync pairs from Pokémon Masters EX's 5.5 year celebration return to the game today as part of the run-up to the upcoming six year anniversary. The Five Friends' Treasure Hunt Story Event, Take On the Talented Friends Extreme Battle Event, Juliana Master Fair Scout and Florian Master Fair Scout will all run through to August 27th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

Story Event: Five Friends' Treasure Hunt
This returning Story Event focuses on the arrival of Florian and Juliana arrival on Pasio, as they makes fast friends with a number of trainers already on the island.

Players in this Story Event will collect Event Points as they complete battles, earning rewards based on the total amount of event points acquired instead of trading for specific desired rewards. Event rewards include 5★ Scout Tickets, Skill Items, a Strike Move Candy Coin, 5★ Power-Ups, and Event Medals. Other rewards able to be obtained include Special Skill Feathers 73 and 74, Custom Sync Orbs for Florian & Miraidon, and Juliana & Koraidon, and Lucky Cookies for Florian & Miraidon, Juliana & Koraidon, and Wally & Gallade. Players can claim these rewards even if they have previously completed the event during the original run in February and March this year.

As usual for events of this type, players will have an increased chance of receiving bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:

• Juliana & Koraidon, and Florian & Miraidon: +60% (×1.6) Bonus Rewards
• Penny & Sylveon, Arven & Mabosstiff, Nemona & Pawmot, Brendan & Treecko/Grovyle/Sceptile, May & Mudkip/Marshtomp/Swampert, and Wally & Gallade: +40% (×1.4) Bonus Rewards
• All other Sync Pairs with the Paldea or Hoenn Theme Skills: +20% (×1.2) bonus rewards

These bonuses stack additively, so having a team consisting of Juliana & Koraidon, Florian & Miraidon, and Wally & Gallade would grant a combined +160% (×2.6) rewards.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:

• The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 11:00pm (PDT).
• To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
• All Event Points collected during this event will be automatically deleted once the event is over.

Extreme Battle Event: Take On the Talented Friends
Players will face off in separate battles against Arven and Penny in this returning Extreme Battle Event.
The "Take On Arven!" battles arere designed to be completed with Juliana & Koraidon, while the "Take On Penny!" battles are designed to be completed with Florian & Miraidon.

Sync Pairs in player's teams with the Main Character or Paldea Themes will receive ×5.0 boosts to their Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk., and Sp. Def. stats when used for this event.

Players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier to participate in this event.

Master Fair Scouts
Juliana & Koraidon, and Florian & Miraidon, the two Master Fair-exclusive Sync Pairs who made their debuts alongside the original run of the Five Friends' Treasure Hunt Story Event both make their return today in separate Master Fair Scouts. More detail about each Sync Pair can be found on their respective Bulbapedia pages (linked at the start of this paragraph).

As usual for Master Fair scouts, 5★ Sync Pairs will have a 12% chance of appearing in each scout, with the featured pair having a higher chance of appearing than other pairs. Master Fair-exclusive Sync Pairs may reappear in future Master Fair Scouts.

The Juliana Master Fair Scout and Florian Master Fair Scout each include daily discounts, where players can perform a single scout for ×100 paid gems. These daily discounts can be used 1 time per day during the entire length of the scout. The first five times players perform a Sync Pair Scout ×11 for each scout, they will also receive the following bonus presents:

• 1st Scout: Strike Move Candy Coin ×1, Support Move Candy Coin ×1, Tech Move Candy Coin ×1
• 2nd Scout: 5★ Power-Up ×2
• 3rd Scout: Sprint Move Candy Coin x1, Field Move Candy Coin ×1
• 4th Scout: 5★ Power-Up ×4
• 5th Scout: Move Candy Coin ×1

In addition, a Special Present! Juliana Master Fair Scout and Special Present! Florian Master Fair Scout are also available, requiring paid gems. These scouts give the same rewards as the regular Juliana Master Fair Scout and Florian Master Fair Scout for the first five times players perform a Sync Pair Scout ×11 with them. In addition, players who team up with Juliana & Koraidon or Florian & Miraidon in their respective scouts will also receive a Tech Roll Cake item, which is required to unlock their EX Role.
