So, if you haven't heard there will be a FNaF movie. In my opinion, Markiplier should be given a role, Markiplier playing Mike Schmidt would be amazing. What do you guys think?

Waitwaitwait... This is not a joke? They're serious about this? ... It's kind of cool that it's happening, but I've got a bad feeling about this. So many video game-based movies turn out terribly, and I'm not sure how they'll be able to use the source material to produce something beyond the content of a Let's Play. It wouldn't be very good if it was just a jumpscare montage, but that's all I can really see this becoming.

Well, Warner Bros. did buy the rights for a movie. I don't know how it's going to turn out, but if they go for the plot that is hidden in the games, they could possibly have good things to use.

Considering it's Warner Bros., a big studio, doing a video game movie, it'll probably be terrible. And, it'll probably not feature Mark.

Now, an indie studio might be able to get it right, imbuing (or revealing) enough of a story and plot, and adapting the game to be... I dunno, exciting. I envision the guard walking around Fazbear's Pizzeria (or whatever it's called) and having to avoid the animatronics and sometimes hide in places. Each animatronic character might have certain trends (like Chika apparently likes to hang out in the kitchen), or acting out routines from their day-show, or reliving moments of the ghosts inside them, oooOOOooo!!

But since it's WB, they're going to play it safe and try to make it for a wide audience. Not offensive, not pushy, not even really scary. Idk how they're going to pull it off-- the only good part about it is that FNaF doesn't have that much to it, wrt gameplay and really obvious story, at least, so there'll have to be a lot of adaptation.

As for the lead, Markiplier can be fun to watch, but how good an actor is he? How good is he at acting terrified? Personally, I could see a cowering, hiding, sniveling, shivering Shia LeBeouf, snot running down his beard as he tries to be motionless and silent, hoping not to attract Bonnie's attention from the other room. I think Shia as a late 20's nightguard who is looking to make a quick buck would work-- I think Shia in a role with very little dialogue, where he mostly just has to be pathetic and scared, would be really good!

Maybe Markiplier could play the phone guy :p

It's a video game movie.

Not worth seeing it.

If I am forced to see it, though (and I WILL, thanks to my two brothers), I'm honestly going to have to agree on the Markiplier thing. I've seen his content before, and while I'm not too into it, I believe he could do it pretty well. He would definitely need to work on some aspects, but otherwise it could be OK. The creator is undeniably going to voice the Phone Guy, as he has done that role all three games.

My question is, what is it going to depict? The third game? The first game? The whole damn trilogy?!

At the very least, it might be semi-entertaining, since I've really fallen behind on FNAF lore. I'm just not betting on it being any good.

I think they're going to cast real voice actors, most likely.

I think the whole idea is bad, anyway. The fandom is already out of control.

Okay... I'm kinda of curious...

Not by the means of the movie being good or not (it will most likely suck) but by the means of "how the hell they will translate this into a movie?"
