It worked just fine without the http before. It's stupid that when people make new versions of something they change something like that. Updates are supposed to make things better. Oh well.
 
It never behaved like that. I remember quite clearly seeing links like that long, long ago.

Though, what might you might be confusing it for is automatic link-ification of certain, correctly patterned strings, for example - www.pokemon.com works as expected, but if you put URL tags around it then it will not: www.pokemon.com.

Hmm. Now that's odd. Automatic link-ification no longer adds the requisite http:// - I guess that's a bug to report.
 
Neither of those work. :p And putting url tags or not doesn't affect anything.
 
Not now, but it used to. URL tags never work if you omit the http://. Automatic link-ification ought to work if you omit the http:// - otherwise there's no reason to link-ify it.
 
The auto one you're talking about is where you post and the forum adds the url tags but you don't, right? That's what I do and it doesn't work without the http thing.
